I feel the same about the items. I always try to get as many as I can, starting with the items I like the most, but it's kinda hard this time. I am not a fan of butterflies and imo we already have SO many butterfly items... Still, I might have 500 butterflies in the end...

Chrizine, good to see you!
YES get a cat (or two!)!!! But I understand (and it is very reasonable) that you want to wait until the construction work is done. Also holding my thumbs for you that it will be finished soon! :sflw:

Sorry about the smoke, mem :( I hate that smell, especially inside the apartment.

I got invited to my first wedding!! I mean, I've been to two weddings of family members so far, but this is the first one by my friends! Super excited :D :qstar: :qstar:

We moved into one flat where they immediately started renovating the outside of the building without telling us a few years back, that was horrible. The noise constantly and the builders walking around, talking loudly etc. I was already working from home and stuck with the noise all the time so I get your pain. At one point I thought I was literally going to go mad.

We bought an air refreshener that sprays a nice smell every 30 minutes and we hope we'll be able to cope XD Otherwise we'll have to notify someone that we suspect a defect in the ventilation. Because it's not okay to smell something from somebody else's apartment. Unless there's a smoking room somewhere in the building and we have no idea but it would still be weird.
I sometimes think that smoker just blows the smoke right into the ventilation crates and maybe that's why it's son intense, idk. Maybe they're trying to hide they're smoking because suddenly they're stuck at home, lol.

@Julez: *Confetti rain* for the wedding invitation! When is it goingt o be? I got invited to a wedding in July and I'm wondering if the virus will allow that gathering xD

You don't know how bad smoking smells until you aren't around it for a while.
My family always smoked around me since I was little.
My mom got to where she smoked a whole pack or two a day.
When she left, I got used to not smelling cigarette smoke.
A family member asked for a ride and she was smoking and it was horrible xD

My sister and I both hated the smell since we were young because both our parents smoked. They did it through the windows, but the smoke still always got inside. So we used to bash them both for smoking and kept bugging them to quit. Never worked. My mom quit years later and now she doesn't smoke anymorand my dad quit cigarettes but turned to smoking just pure tobbacco. He says it has less heavy chemicals that stay in your lungs but Idk.

Today we bought some incense, so I think we're prepared XD

Tonight one of our neighbours played really loud (and really old, dull, house-style music) music for over half an hour because he was, as he said in the development facebook group, "playing a DJ set to cheer everyone up". There were two (2) old people dancing down in the courtyard below our window and yelling up two floors to him and then he was yelling back. It was so loud we couldn't hear our TV properly inside our room -_____- I really hope this doesn't become a thing because I like a) sleeping and b) keeping to my own schedule that isn't dictated by what someone else thinks is the right time to be sleeping.

I feel bad for the people with young children and babies even more... I mean, they should definitely have been sleeping by then, so that's crazy.

some people are really wrapped up in themselves though. It always astounds me. I really like keeping myself to myself and not inconveniencing anyone else out in the world. I sometimes will catch myself singing along to a song and then stop just in case I'm doing it loud enough someone outside the apartment will hear me. Then some other doofus just opens their doors and puts the volume as high as it will go -___-

Same, jacob. It's really annoying how people lack empathy. And the pandemic doesn't help, people are stressed out and they get angry really easily and are even less considerate than normally. On Saturday I was grocery shopping with my mom and Ash and this old dude just pushed our basket with his without any shade of human decency on his face. More like "bitch, get outta way". Normally any other person would say "excuse me" to catch our attention and let us know we're blocking the way, people tend to leave their baskets like that all the time. But no, he just pushed it away rudely without excusing himself or apologizing for doing so.

Oh, and this guy that smokes cigarettes right into our apartment? Also smokes pot. Yesterday was quite nice, an odd smoke once in a while. But today all day it was decent and now it's a cigarette, then pot, then cigarette, then more pot, then even more pot, and even more of the pot and then cigarette, and it's not even funny how fast the smell is changing. It's like 10 minutes breaks.
Oh, it just chnaged from cigarette to pot as I'm typing.... Like wtf is that person doing and why smoking so much of everything at once? My rats are gonna get high from all the pot x.x
