Hi Kuuki. I'm not really sure. Ahhhhh. I come back here every now and then to give free sketches and buy art. Haha.
How've you been?

Omg, it's Lian. It's been a while! What have you been up to? (:
@kuuki:
I use a premix for brownies because my local supermarket has really shit quality cocoa powder which I rather not buy. Other than that I never buy premix either. Pancakes aren't that difficult to make in terms of procedure and ingredients anyway. My fear would just be breaking it as I flip it. I'll probably miss the pan and it'll fall on the floor.
@zia
Last time we tried the Korean pancakes, this red tofu soup and this fried chicken in sweet sour sauce. I thought they were going to serve me crunchy Korean fried chicken but I was wrong. The bibimbap was rather bland. Maybe the lady didn't give me enough sauce. I love the condiments more than anything. I'd wish they give us more.
I feel like Korean restaurants have to do so much washing up. They serve with so many little plates. Hahahahahaha.

Korean food. Yum. I always love their barbecues as long as the place has good quality meat <3
Ahhhh I've been around. Not here. Tumblr, I guess? But I don't really stay in one place too long. I've been doing various stuff. Hahaha. How about you, Po? What have you been up to lately?

@Po: Have you tried buying dark chocolate and melting it to make brownies? It gives a really strong chocolate taste and it's delicious.
I've never tried making brownies that way but it works wonders for every other chocolate cake I have ever made.
@Lian: Great! I moved from France to Japan and am having a lot of fun! :D

I haven't tried Korean BBQ in a while. I'm not too much of a red meat eater and I can imagine myself smelling distinctively BBQ meat right after.
Nothing much really. I'm currently in my 4th year of uni D8 It feels like I'm never going to get out of here and I still have 2 more years to go approx. I've been wanting to take it slow and work part time which is what I've been doing. It's very tiring. The only online forum I've stuck to is Kofk. I might start browsing reddit engineering pages sometime.
@Kuuki
Dark chocolate makes me ill so I would probably try adding milk/white chocolate. Every time I bake cake the sides go all crispy before the inside gets cooked 8U It's really annoying. I'm not sure if it's because I don't line the tin with baking paper or if my tin is too black.

I've seen a brownie recipe with a mix of dark and milk chocolate. The problem is that milk chocolate is fatter than dark chocolate so it's harder to cook right.
That being said, I think your problem might be caused by your oven. Try setting the temperature lower and cook a bit longer and normally it should get better.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I always suspected my oven of messing things up.
It's really old and I'm not really sure how accurate the temperature really is when I bake. That is why I usually do really easy things like scones. I eat a lot of scones anyway.
My nose is so dry because I'm sick ;__________;

Yeah, sounds like the temperature is too high. I'd totally be into crispy cake, though. I love crispy.
You could try asking for extra sauce on the side. It's called 고추장 gochoojang. Bibimbap in stone bowls is really popular because it keeps it hot for longer. But yeah. Korean fried chicken is pan-fried and not really all that crunchy. But what you ordered sounds more like a Koreanized Chinese dish than pure Korean dish. Was it called 깐풍기 kanpoonggi?
Haha, yeah. But it's how we eat. Rice with thousands of small side-dishes. I don't do well in other restaurants where we're expected to order one dish and eat ONE thing the entire meal. I need variety, damn it!
Yikes! It's starting to get into spring for you, right? Feel better soon!
