Oh god mem, this sounds so annoying. I hate both cigarette and pot smell, I couldn't stand it.

I still prefer living here with the cigarettes and pot smells that I can fight with incense and air refreshers than living in a confided room with no air and all the dust in the world no matter how frequently you vacuum and dust it... Do you know that I used to sneeze a bazzilion times in the mornings all through to noon hours and since we moved I don't sneeze anymore? And we didn't even vacuum this place once yet because we don't have a vacuum cleaner XD And Ash used to get a soar throat and would clear it constantly and hurt it that way but since we moved out, he doesn't do it as frequently anymore, almost not at all. And besides the air and space, there's silence. And it's not even that we don't hear our neighbors, I think the walls are pretty thin, we hear most noises if they happen, but that's the thing - they don't happen that often. Nobody blasts their TV on full volume and it's so wonderful to finally just have a nice tune running from the laptop or PC and be without headphones all day at work and then at home too.
It's just so much nicer to live here with the cigarette and pot smells than with all the discomfort with my grandma xD
Today the smells aren't too bad, I think maybe someone doesn't smoke regularly but rather compulsively.

Perhaps I shuld give this person a codename Smoker or something, hmm...

Right? Especially in times of economical crisis, people are freaking out the most about their finances. Even I catch myself worrying about it although I'm hella privileged and there's no signs of incoming financial trouble for me at all, but dang, cigarettes are an expensive addiction and I don't know about the marijuana, but I'm guessing that isn't cheap either...

Funny thing is, I don't think I've smelled the smoke today and it's already 4:40pm. So our Smoker doesn't even have a schedule, it's so weird. But our landlord called in yesterday to ask how we're feeling in the apartment and to inform us she's been calling to people about our intercom not working and Ash told her we've been dealing with that Smoker and maybe there's something wrong with the ventilation system in the building. She said she'll take care of that, too. She's a really nice woman.

I don't think she killed the smoker, he smokes early in the mornings now :D Although it's strange how suddenly he stopped smoking throughout the day and only has 2-3 smokes a day

I started my current job in December, so I didn't know my boss that well. When this whole covid thing started ... and she would cough I would eyeball her something fierce.

She said, "I'm a smoker and that is Ted, the frog that lives in my throat. Sometimes he has friends over, it's okay." XD
