I hear/see you. *shakes fist at VoU*

Speaking of games, I had to give another one up. It was stressing me to have to keep the pets fed, and making my head threaten to migraine.

...Which brings up the fact that I pulled the clock and timers off the stove here this morning because the clock would NOT stop giving way to periodic bouts of ticking loudly. I shocked myself in the process. Didn't really hurt but my one finger tip feels a little funny. There's not more ticking, but now I'm afraid to turn the power to the stove back on because there's a bundle of wires sticking out of it, and some of them got pulled on when I was working.

No, I can't call the manager. The last time I expressed distress over some noise giving me headaches I got scolded like a little kid. And the last time I mentioned that the stuff the cleaning guy uses disagreed with me when it blew into my apartment it smelled like he started pouring it out on the carpet in front of my door several times over the next week. I know he didn't, but he was using it a lot more often, and when I went and checked the laundry room, where he uses it, I didn't smell it there, only in my place.

That's weird how you smelled it in you place and not where its normally used. o.O

I've had several long days off, which is why I've been pretty active, besides watching stuff on netflix. x'D

Well it's official, social worker refuses to do her job, I just got told if I want paid, I have to call health and human services, which pretty much means I won't be getting paid for caring for my mother at all, and the chances of me finding a job that I can walk to that won't cause issues for mom is about ziltch.

Try giving them a call anyways, if you're lucky they might be willing to pay you since you did try contacting them. I mean its better than not trying, right?

I actually looked it up, in order to get it, we'd have to be elligible or on medicaid, and we're not due to the farm share sale. So we were actually led astray by two different social workers on this because mom and I refuse to waste money on stuff just because of medicaid especially since medicaid would take the house if anything happened to her, and that's just not something she or I want.

That said I did find something that mom's going to call, but chances are, I pretty much will not be getting paid and finding a job is virtually not happening as my only ride option is the guy that likes to hit snowbanks for fun.

Take the house? What???

And they're actually forcing you to live without an income?

Have been for several years because mom didn't qualify for medicaid for so long, and it's in the iowa medicaid rules that once someone on medicaid passes, they can seize assests, the only relief you get is if your still living in the home of the person on medicaid they have to give you a chance to find other housing or work something out. Luckily because she and I have agreed to not go for medicaid ever, I don't have that particular worry, but income wise I have to hope her talking to the deparment of aging(whenever she gets around to it) at least gets us other options, otherwise my income will stay at 0 for a very long time.
