At least there is a bit of good news I guess.

That is a little bit of good news.
I hope people can get help they need.

It's kinda silly, but I saw that thing where Starbucks was going to hire refugees, and people were boycotting them.
I was like "I'm gonna buy 5 coffees tomorrow 8u/"

It just gets to me that people can be so flippant towards others.
I remember when we were let out for recess, this girl fell and hurt her knee.
Everyone else kept running, but I stopped and helped her.
I didn't even like her. She was a brat.
But I didn't like seeing her hurt, so I helped her.

LOL Moi I was reading tweets on that stupid Starbucks thing and read an article about it. The CEO said he was going to focus on people who served or helped miliary first. And everyone ignored that fact. Must of read the first part of the title and was like screw this, lets burn them. LOL I'm happy he's doing that. Facebook, Google and Tesla even spoke out about the ban. No idea what they said or doing because of it, but gotta wonder if they are doing things like this in some way, if people would say they are gonna boycott two things they most likely use constantly. Not easy to not use google things. FB is easy.

I always wondered how people were the way they are. Never figured that out since I started to think about it since I was a child.

Read something today about raising the wage for H-1 visa holders and I think I got the jist of it, but not sure if it's good or a bad thing. Comments seemed to be both ways so I'm a bit confused on that thing still.

Yeah I kinda could care less what Facebook says or does lately. What with A. Selling private info, B. Letting fake news run rampant and C. Allowing live streams of violence to remain up far longer than they should etc... just awful, awful!

When people say stuff like that, it always makes me want to do the opposite.
xD
I apparently enjoy doing things out of spite 8,u

I was treated poorly by a lot of people in my life.
I know how it hurts to be treated badly, so I try not to do it to others.
And I would not like to see people I care about being hurt.

Another bright spot, although not for the U.S.

Good to see some people stepping up.

Akili that is great news. At least they will have somewhere to go to.

People do crazy things and it would be nice to understand Moi but at least there are good ones out there. Maybe someday one of them might explain why others are the way they are.

Eva the whole selling info was supposed to be false. I read that it's supposed to not be true but I haven't read too much into it. And don't care to. Not something that I'm too interested in right now.

Here's a story from one of the people detained, a 75-year old Iranian women who was coming to visit her grandson. I think it's important to read the stories of the people most effected. This story has a happy ending. There was another elderly Iraqi woman who was separated from her son and sent back to Iraq, where she died alone and kept from her family.

And here's an update about the mosque in Texas: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 56331.html

At least that Texas story was happy. I got sick reading the other. Even with a happy ending it was still sickening to read how she went through nothing. I am still confused on this whole thing. But thats because I never understood how the government says one thing (like where our laws are based on) and does another and gets away with it. I feel bad for that poor woman. Glad she got to go to her family. No one deserves that. Including the people who will die in their home country for helping out our military but that baby won't think of that. Too much older thinking for a child.

I can't look at that LA times link without turning off my addblocker, which I'm not gonna do x.x
BUT if it's the same story as this one... MSN is now calling that guy a total liar about his mom dying because of the travel ban.

I do love it when faith people come together and support one another though, it's heartwarming.
