I'm okay, guys, my eye is all better now, but I had a rough night. That eye thing was my body screaming: MIGRAINE INCOMING, PREPARE YOUR ANUS! :mcglee: :qh: :mcargh: I've never had aura and I don't even get migraines that often (although I do get them all in all, like my mom used to, too), so I freaked out about suddenly going sort of blind :mcheh: Ash thought maybe it was due to stress, because I've been working on my Linkedin and CV for a few hours straight, although I consciously didn't feel stressed, but maybe I was internally, idk. I took a short break from work and went to donate and bam, I suddenly had a wormsy/swimming crescend moon in my right eye's vision and it wouldn't go away for the longest time (I mean, it probably went on for a few minutes, but still, it's eternity when you have no idea what's going on :mcargh: ). After my eye came back to normal I got completely overpowered with the pain (in my left side, strangely enough, although my right eye went blind, lol) and needless to say I haven't slept well since then. It still kind of continued through today (still does) but it's not overpowering and I've been able to work (had some technical difficulties tho, it was fun :mcmeh: ). But now any sudden/abrupt movement might trigger more pain. I'm super dizzy and airy all the time and when I get up my eyes black out for a tiniest bit. It''s even when I try to move slowly and mindfully. Kind of awful. I think it was the first time as bad as that. I feel hungover on my migraine xD

Oh boy, sounds as if you need a good rest.
Hopefully the dizziness will be gone soon!
You were working on your CV? Are you looking for a new job then?

I actually had a bad night, too. First I was not tired enough to fall asleep even though it was my usual bed time. Then I woke up in the middle of the night a few times. Also had dreams about job interviews. So woke up not fully rested either...

I just hope this migraine will leave and not get progressively worse in the late evening again, because I can't :mcargh:
Kind of. Not as much looking for a new job as I'm slowly making tiny steps towards starting a business. I gathered some writing, publishing and editiorial courses I've done. I want to ask around about some internships etc., but if there are some offers available I'd have to have some info about my experience/education or things like that prepared to give out to those who might be interested. So I wanted to first prepare that shit. I imagine at first it would be freelancing but the goal is to in the end start a business.
I'm so over my current job and any other job, tbh. I want to be more independent because right now it's awful and I feel I'm wasting my time and energy.

Wow, that doesn't sound pleasant! :mcsad: Are the dreams about job interviews justified by some related stress or was it just random?

Mem: Awww, I'm sorry ;;
I thought maybe you got something in your eye.
I've never had a migraine, I don't think.
But when I was a kid, I had a horrible pain in my head and it made me nauseous and I was bed-ridden for a few days.
I didn't go to the doctor or anything so I don't know what it was.

I too had a meh night. My sister started school online and I could hardly sleep and then my mom and sister had the light on and were talking so I couldn't go back to sleep.

A headache that makes you bed-ridden kind of sounds like a migraine. Do you remember if the pain traveled to one side of your face/head? And it was that one time only?

Couldn't they have moved to another room to chat and let you sleep? :mcconf:

No, I don't remember that, sadly.
I remember my grandpa and I used to go for rides out in the country for fun and he offered to take me for a ride and I was so out of it and in pain that he just brought me home.
And that's the only time I've been like that.
I get headaches all the time, but it's never like a migraine.

No apparently that'd be selfish of me to ask them to do that Bu
My family is always loud and turn lights on when I try to sleep.
My sister wants to stay in bed and since it's my bed in my room, I can't sleep.
Luckily, my mom lets me sleep in her bed, but she too wants to use it later on and I feel bad sleeping in it.

Well, if that was the only time, then you're lucky anyways :mclaugh:

Dang, I facepalmed, that's not very considerate of them... :mcmeh:
