Yeah I wondered as well. And then I thought a bit about it and realized we're already in October and that October means an Halloween event and then I realized that maybe that's the reason.

Having both at the same time would actually be a bit difficult I think so I'd rather have it now.

(I need to go look at what Grog wants for this next set of items and see what my goal is. Pretty sure I won't make it, because I'm going to be gone soon without internet for a couple days and then he leaves, but it's still good to know what the goal is, just in case...)

I can't wait to see this year's Halloween event. Do you remember/were you here for the 2012 Ghost Ship? I really liked that - it was still vaguely Halloween-y (because, ghosts!) but it also wasn't the typical "pumpkins, pumpkins, vampires, blood" type of thing. Nothing against pumpkins or vampires but it's always nice to see something different.

Yes, a smaller one, I think it was cat-themed(?) I wasn't online much last October so all I have are two shirts with a cat on them.

@Akili: There was a really small one with a few items leaning on the cute side with cute ghosts and shirts. I can't remember well actually, I do remember I thought it didn't feel very Halloween-ish.

Depends, at the very least 2 weeks sometimes more. In the past Halloween has been about collecting pop ups, raising pumpkins and the latest one has been a mix of everything with tasks, like posting or looking for objects given to us by many NPC characters.
