I would like to join in the raffle as well :mchappy:
I didn't know that the unique knuffel auction's over o.o

I only have English books to choose from. I can hardly read anything in Filipino, even if it is sort of my native language. It's challenging for me to understand. Mainly because we use English as a medium in schools and Filipino is just one single subject.

I've been reading Harry Potter fanfics, hahaha~

We have all seven books but I've never touched them before, too scared cause it was my grandmother's. I may start reading it soon though, I have this need to read all novels in the house and HP is the only series we have here that I haven't read yet.

Wow, as a major Potterhead I can't imagine someone who has never read the series! Ooh that's going to be so much fun! cx

I often wish I could reread them again and have it be like the first time, the wonder and all the magic ~

They're definitely worth a read ;P

Said books are originally in Polish.
oh good luck! I hope you enjoy them. I've never played the game or watched the series, but the books are my favourites :mclove:

then maybe reading in it is exactly what you need if you want to keep the language?

we were talking about books in English that are easy to read for non-native speakers :) I haven't read the trilogy so I have no idea if it's easy to read. we'll have to rely on you telling us ;)

@Popodoki - I'll dive into the books once I have the time ;)

@wulfilalice - I speak the language everyday. I just don't read it. Hardly anyone reads it because the authors seem to love really deep words too much and no one uses words that deep in actual conversations. I had a collection of books in Filipino, all by the same author, once. He didn't use the hard-to-understand words and kept it simple. Main reason why people actually read his books.
