Rzx: Sadly, I'm in Texas, and it's 85 inside the house, outside it's up to the 100's, like with you, but sadly, it's really humid here. The way one Southerner put it: "Take a wool blanket, and soak it in boiling water, then wrap it around your head and try to breathe." lol... scary, but true.

Yeah, wet heat is really bad. I lived in Missouri for a few years, and that describes the entire summer. I hate the heat here in Arizona, but I'll take dry heat over wet heat any day.

Hmm... how about see if there's a cafe around where they live so that you're holding a "tea party" where they live but not intruding in their place? And then while there, say how nice it is and how nice it would be to have a private tea party and mention that you'd hold it at your place and see if anyone's a) willing to come out to where you live or b) willing to hold it at their place instead? If you make it potluck thing then it'd lower the burden for the person hosting it.

Aw, that's too bad. We're getting some more loose leaf tea places around where I live. But I'm still quite devoted to Blue Teapot, even though it's like, 2 hours of transit from where I live. Hey, I get to have yummy Greek potatoes and delectable pavlova once I'm there, so why not?

If ThinkGeek lists what they used in their Blood Orange and Jasmine Green, could you maybe look at the ingredient list up at Adagio and try blending your own, maybe?

Except I live too far out of the way for myself or them to consider commuting. The only reason I was able to go to the sushi party is because I was already up that way with a friend working on getting a dress put together.

Sadly, ThinkGeek doesn't list what's in any of their teas, other than the very very basics. So it'd be a lot of guess and check on Adagio, and I can't afford that...especially considering they have, what, hundreds of different teas? Not counting the additions.

oh WOW.... serious funds problems... Why not take Defensive Driver in order to get the tickets taken care of, at least?? will also lower the insurance payments... As for you, maybe try a desk job or something?? I think the whole thing with pregnancy is basically, "so, we hire her, and then within a few months she's gone on maternity leave..." Maybe look into temp work?? I know I worked for a weekend at Foley's at the mall when they had a sale going on and needed the extra hands. All I basically did was fold clothes.
