And hey! I check here pretty much every day.. mine was the last post. I was waiting for someone to say something, but no one (Including Aki!) ever did... ;-; so no blaming me!
On a side note, found a dog yesterday. It was starved, just skin and bones, and had really long nails... but it had it's tag from the vet still on his collar! So we fed him and let him sleep here, and this morning (after giving him breakfast), I took him to the vet listed on his tag. His owner was delighted to get the call about their dog being found, they'd been pretty worried and upset...

I'm so happy to hear that it was a case of a runaway dog found and not a "I can't afford to pay the vet bills so I guess I'll just not pick up my dog" thing.

yup.. apparently they had left the gate open, and he had gotten out of the house and was out the gate... and there's some woods across the street... and he doesn't really seem to respond to being called... So I can see why they'd have problems getting him to come back home... poor guy...
