Also, I think Aki just wanted different examples of diseases that could make it dangerous for someone to get pregnant, not necessarily your own illness. owo

Oh, I feel some of that pain there... I don't have the health issues preventing pregnancy, though, so because my little cousins are popping out babies left and right (about 5 in the last 6 years), everyone's looking to me now, demanding to know why I'm not married and popping out kids yet, and declaring me as basically a failure in life. Because it's my choice, they decide my mind can be changed, and I'm just being silly/going through a phase, or something...

Life doesn't revolve around babies, and a woman isn't less of one because she can't/won't have a child. I'm sorry to hear about the crap you have to go through. Maybe just tell them you're infertile or something? *shrugs* just to make them shut up? Either way, I hope people leave you alone about it soon...

I keep wanting then not wanting them. Overall I don't want them and I'd much rather adopt a kid than have my own.

Well gee, thanks for calling me a liar for knowing my own body better than someone who's never even met me... This is why I don't tell anyone anything about any issues I have. Someone shouldn't state something about themselves, and immediately have someone else jump down their throat like that.

Also, I doubt a Google search would turn up anything, since my issue is a combination of complications, rather than one specific problem. Basically, my body is physically INCAPABLE of sustaining life for as long as a pregnancy takes (it can barely even sustain my own life). I'd be lucky if a miscarriage was the only result of a pregnancy.

You're right about that, no one should be afraid of saying that. However, too many people are under the mindset that women should be nothing more than incubators.

Oh for fuck's sake. It's our bodies and our lives. We don't have to do anything. But she's Asian, though. She's likely going to hear, "you'll change your mind. You're just too young to know what you really want" all her life. Hell, I hear it and I'm almost 30.

You did it when I said that in Korea there used to be a law where people with the same last names couldn't be married unless they could prove in court that their last names did not originate from the same ancestors.
