I've really fallen behind, but now I'm almost finished with necklaces - that's great they're so cheap...
I've started some of my own, and they've never taken off. Most of the time getting no post at all. It seems like I'm alone in most of my interest.

I also sometimes manage to actually start a thread. It's true it often ends up with no replies... But sometimes there is a response, even if just a little - that makes me happy. So, well, we have to try, I guess :mchappy:

Also, Candy Caravan and posting events greatly help, since there are much more people actually browsing the forum. And no wonder we're alone in our interests if there aren't many people around to start with - and that's true for other's threads too.

It helps to put the link to your threads in your signatures and move around the forums. Maybe then someone pops in to say hi ;)

I get putting a link to shops or contest, but for a normal conversation?

I've noticed that a lot of 'conversations' are usually more than just conversations, they usually have something else about them which keeps people around and chatting, like contests or raffles. That way visitors might as well stay and chat if it means they are keeping updated with the thread and checking it regularly for if they have won something etc.. :mchappy:

Sorry to change the subject but I gave in and bought the hair.
Needless to say I'm really satisfied about it.

Back, thanks for answering!
Yes, it was a short trip. My mother and I take my grandmother to a hot springs to help with her arthritis. It needs two of us because she's in a wheelchair and so one of us has to be on either side of her to help her in and out of the water. It helps her a lot, though! We go and stay there for a couple of nights so she can be in the water long enough to make a difference for her joints and circulation. It's back up a ways into the undeveloped areas and there isn't any reception for phones or internet, so we always worry a little bit in case there's an emergency, but so far it has been okay!

How are you doing on the dresses? Did you already finish those too or are you still working on them?

I put a poll in my topic about Walk off the Earth, but people will vote on it, but not post in the topic. Jill is the only post I've gotten in that topic.
