I'll keep Sachsen in mind, then. x3
Absolutely. The only movie I thought was very close to the book was Harry Potter - but also the first few. :(
There are so, so many books of Pratchett that I can't quite decide yet, I've read too little of them!
You see, he's writing a series, the Discworld series, which just goes on and on, with different characters, sometimes they come back, sometimes they meet each other... it's like. A whole world. It's hard to describe. The series contains, what, 30 books? And counting?
My personal favorite is The Amazing Maurice and His Rodents, but that's not a 'real' part of the series. Also that is hard to describe, but it's sort of. A spin-off. For younger readers. But that only means his humor is a bit less adult, but he's still amazingly funny. :D
Of the actual series my fave up 'til now is Wyrd Sisters I think, but that's because my favorite character is in there, The Duchess of Lancre. She was my character in a play - that's how I got introduced to Pratchett. :p
I also loved Mort though, and The Truth, Monstrous Regiment...
If you would like to start to read however, just start at The Color of Magic, it's the first book. Together with The Light Fantastic it forms the first story. But just about every book has it's own story, it's just that sometimes you recognize characters and all ^_^
There's no need to be a scaredycat, there's nothing to be scared of!
But you'll notice that as soon as you're in the air. You don't even notice you're up there, other than the amazing view. <3
Yeah, exactly, it would. Though it wouldn't be impossible I'm afraid.
