My grandpa had an actual fishing rod and I just had a pole with a line on it.
I caught some of those big fish 8>
I miss going fishing.
I'd probably catch fish and put them back now, though xD

I love spicy salmon roll so much. I tried the tuna one first and I HATE tuna Bu
So I tried the salmon and it was so good 8Q
It could use less avocado and more salmon and a ton more spicy stuff >8u

It's been a crazy few days. *sighs* Copied this from a message to a friend:

Sorry it took me so long to respond. My aunt thought she had the stomach flu this weekend but when Mom called her on Monday we found out she'd went to the hospital Sunday night. They said she had a blockage of some sort and scheduled to put the scope down her throat to check it out and to try to clear it. She was supposed to have the procedure around 4PM Monday but she started getting worse so they did it around Noon. Long story short, she was either septic or going septic and wound up in the ICU and nearly died. They even had to put her on a ventilator because her BP was so high they didn't want her body to do anything but calm down. She had kidney stones that got into or behind? her liver and they got infected and it started going into her bloodstream so I guess she was septic. I got a call from my cousin saying that the next 3 hours were critical and I promptly started a prayer chain. By the time we got there Monday evening she was doing slightly better and they were going to take her off some medications so she could wake up. They wound up taking her off of the ventilator that night and said they believed she was out of the woods yesterday. So we spent the last couple of days going to visit her in the hospital and I'm behind on everything.

Tam-I'm not sure I ever want to eat cabbage again after the bad coleslaw I got at a restaurant the other day. Let's just say my intestines did not appreciate it. :qoops:

Moi-I hope you can find out. It's so sad to lose that kind of info. :qsob: I love genealogy but I'm too lazy to work on it for my family. :qoops: My grandma used to do a lot of it and my dad is currently working on some though. Yeah, it worries a lot of people to have their DNA tested but I'm kind of ok with them catching killers because of it. I don't like people's privacy being violated though. I guess I have mixed feelings on it.

Hide her purse. XD Sounds like something my mom would do. Except for change, she's obsessed with it. O.O She'll take anybody's change. XD

Been there. XD Now I just try to tell people how I feel before I get that upset. It doesn't always work though.

Awww. It's nice when someone can make you crack in a good way.

Uh oh. *hugs* Have you gotten your medication yet? No sleep is rough. I'm a lunatic when I don't get any sleep.

Such a cute picture! :qg:

Wow. I'm so sorry for you and your aunt ;; -hugs-
I'll pray for her too D:
That seems so scary o_O
That's why my body freaks me out...could have any number of things going wrong and I wouldn't know what until it was really bad.
I'm glad she decided to go to the hospital.
My dumb ass would probably try to tough it out.

Something similar happened to my parents.
My dad called my mom last year, saying he was in a lot of pain and had issues breathing.
So me and my mom got dressed and drove to his house and there was a firetruck and ambulance there.
They helped my dad into the ambulance and took him to the ER.
He ended up getting his gallbladder removed and he was bleeding internally at some point because they found blood just sitting in his abdomen.
No idea where it came from ._.

Then my mom was throwing up and having stomach problems and she decided to go to the hospital.
They ended up giving her something to stop her nausea and she went into cardiac arrest TWICE.
She was in a coma for a bit and they told me it was my decision if I want to pull the plug or not if the time came.
But she recovered really good.

I've always taken interest in my Native American heritage. When I was a kid, my dad taught me about them and their beliefs and stuff and it excited me.
I remember telling my stupidass classmates about how my dad believed in spirit animals, and they mocked him.
I wanted to punch them in their faces Bu
I don't know many family members.
They're either all dead or I don't live near them or talk to them.
My mom told me my great grandpa was such a nice man and my dad said my grandpa was a nice man.
Never got to meet either of them.

Oh, I love the hell out of Forensics xD
I remember this one case in a small village was solved because of the DNA sample.
They were able to isolate a specific family in the village because they carried a unique genetic.
Really mind-blowing.
And just genetics in general interest me. I love learning why people get things like hair color and eye color and illnesses and everything.
But I can understand the fear of invasion of privacy.

I wish I could. She also didn't let me buy stuff at the store Bu
Does she pick up random pennies 8u
I had to check twice to see if I typed "pennies" and not "penises" >xD

I sound like I'm dying when I laugh out loud u8
I'll laugh and people will think I'm choking or having trouble breathing xD

Yeah, I got it...this morning. I hate being dependent on medication, but I need it :\

Nah, I was an ugly kid u8
With huge ears 8u

My dad wouldn't let me fish when we went when I was that age. But I guess one of the pike could have pulled me in. Wasn't why. He just always did things, and we stood on the side. I'm starting to feel embarrassed about my native heritage for the first time, but the native people at the farmers market and who live at the drying out place behind my building are jerks who do loud powwow music and acting superior.

Rayven... *BIG hug* Man. I'm glad she's alright. I wish I could have known so I could pray for her, but I understand the not being online much. I'm glad she's getting better. Also, coleslaw is bad to me anytime. *more hug*

My grandpa had to bait my hook because I didn't want to hurt the worms and minnows xD
This one time, I left my pole by the water while baited because I went to my grandpa's friend's house (he let us fish on his property) for food or drink or the bathroom and when I came back - my pole was gone.
I told my grandpa and he said "It's not gone!" and he walked over and my pole was gone.
A fish made off with my pole uB<
Never saw it again uB<
It was revenge and a personal trimuph for them uB<

LOL! Oh dear!

Speaking of gone, all the health food stores that I know of in my walking distance are gone. I have to figure out where to find my supplements, because I can't even digest food without the one of them.

That's weird ._.
Do you know why they closed?

Covid. They said it was because of Covid.

That's sad :\

I know there was a restaurant that was in business here for a while, but it closed after COVID came.

Yeah. There was one here for like twenty years. I finally started eating at it just in 2019, and then Covid came, and no more pho in quick walking distance, because the restaurant closed.
