and fresh ginger might take a while to steep. but now they have those powdered drink packets for ginger tea where you just pour hot water on it and the drink crystals just melt away and you get ginger tea. 8U on top of that, some of these ginger teas can be preeeeeeeetty spicy, even though they have sugar/honey in them already. xD

I've tried some packet versions of ginger tea before, but I found they don't compare to fresh ginger in the heat it gives? I like the hot feeling in my belly after drinking fresh ginger =u=

ohhh let me tell you, these drink packets are SPICY. like for me, they just burnnnn lol. XD;;

Do they burn the throat or in the stomach? I find that packaged/dried ginger tend to burn more in the throat while fresh ginger water burn more in the stomach :O it's so strange!

Here the traditional for an upset stomach is camomilla tea.
But also we have a quite weird tradition of considering certain alcohols as medicine, and I once was insisted that it was better if you drank the camomilla tea with gin!

Whoa tea with gin, that sounds interesting:O I wonder what it tastes like.
The closest I've had is oolong tea mixed with shochu at a Japanese Izakaya, it was really refreshing!

I did drink it. I would not say it tasted bad, I probably was so bad that I did not notice the taste xD
But I still think it's crazy!

no idea. i don't always drink it, only maybe in the winter. xD i haven't drank it in a long time.
