I've only entered a couple of times, and once I think I made 3rd place or something, but the first place winner was a regular winner, and so she gave me the medal.
I don't like cluttered avatars, either... x.x

It bothers me a lot because some avatars that win aren't as good as one that'll place like 8th.
It makes no sense.
