I don't really use many other sites so it's really the only Halloween event that i'm involved in. I love it though because I love Halloween, and if I don't do much IRL, at least i've got kofk to celebrate it on. :mcglee:

I started a bunch of site when I was bored and at University a long time ago and have never been able to stop but Kofk might be the one site I spend the most time on in a single day.

I really love the Halloween aesthetic. Fall and not-really-scary-but-not-conventionally-"pretty" stuff is just so nice.

Why don't you do anything for it IRL, Kuuki?

Ghost, are you keeping track of donuts for a specific goal, still, or just in general hoarding them, in case?

I would love to live in England or maybe America for a while in the future, just so I can get the full experience of celebrating holidays like Halloween during Autumn, and Christmas during Winter. :mclove: It's a bit weird trying to get into spooky season when the flowers are blooming, or wanting to drink hot chocolate snuggled by the fire with a book on Christmas Eve when it's basically the middle of Summer. :mcsweat:

And I don't have a specific goal for donuts, I just wanna get all the items. But I forgot what i'm up to now :mcconf:

Eh, your Christmas-in-summer is a whole heck of a lot closer to the original than anything those northern places came up with. I've spent over a year in Israel, I've been there over "winter".

"Winter".

Ha!

But yeah, I am a little surprised that Halloween just doesn't move 6 months and become a secular fall festival for you guys. I wish it would, because then everyone in the world would have an excuse to celebrate it twice a year.... fall for where they lived and fall for where their friends lived! :D

Surely there's been locally-developed spring and fall festivals, though? And you guys would be developing them so much later in history you could get really CREATIVE with the traditions....

I still think it's crazy the other side has the total opposite weather...

yeeaahh.. let's not talk about 'winter' :mcsweat:

It does get cold but not near as cold as I would like. But the rain disappoints me most. I really love rain and gloomy weather but it hardly ever rains. (Ohh I just did a bit of research and found out that my city is the driest of all our capitals.. that makes sense :mcsad: )

I've seen a few festivals around, some bigger than others, but maybe I don't get out enough. My parents don't seem to be the sort to go to things like festivals so I feel like a lot of the time I just don't realise what's happening around me.

MMm, yeah, that can be a factor, for sure!

Are you more extroverted than they are?

Oh, nooo! :mcdead: I'm definitely an extremely introverted person, more than anyone I know but I love being outdoors and doing things to make me feel productive so it's nice to get out the house. My mum, especially, is more extroverted but is usually working and isn't as adventurous when she leaves the house.

The difference is that I love being outside, going to new places, enjoying experiencing different surroundings more on my own, while she likes going out more specifically to see people and socialise. :mchappy: I hope that makes sense
