I have a regular measuring tape, but I don't think it would
do much good. I need one of those flimsy ones. Lol.
And I do need a scale. I forgot about it over the weekend. D8

Well, I managed to get SAI on my Mac.
But the pen pressure doesn't work, and the stabilizer
doesn't work, which are basically the main 2 things I need
to make my art look nice, so I'm kinda frustrated, LOL.

In the holy texts, Islam is supposed to be a peaceful religion. However, some people today are either misinterpreting the texts or using it for their own agenda and using the word as a means of oppression. Of course, I wouldn't say this applies to the religion entirely and not just to Islam. I do wonder if Islamic woman over in 2nd/3rd world countries feel like prisoners, the ones where Islamic law applies to the entire country. It's completely different to living in a 1st world country where you're free from Islamic rule (but not your family >>). If you're still covering up then ultimately it's your choice and not the states' choice for you, you're just doing it for yourself and your spirituality.
Sometimes the conquered are forced to comply to the religion of the conquerors whether that be Christianity, Islam or some other major religion. There's a great history of that. In media you do hear a lot of terrible things like people throwing acid at young women to protest women having an education or the father that kills his daughter after she refuses to wear a hijab/burka because she disgraced the family.

I live in a suburb that went from majority white to sudden influx of Muslim and African people and now they're building a mosque on my street. I don't mind but the lady that came around asking us to sign forms was really rude and forceful. It's our property, you can't force us to sign forms and let you put anchors, cranes and scaffolding onto/near our property :\ She even implied threats of bringing it to court and saying that, "I'll be approved in no time," which is an out right lie. It'll take forever for her to pass this in housing court as the property owners have a right to say no to construction especially since they were offering NO compensation whatever in their paperwork and didn't give us the lawful time 6 weeks like you're supposed. They gave it to us with 10 days to sign and was like, "read this and sign. K thanks, if you don't we bring it court." Even my neighbours were pissed at how short notice it was.

I hope they plan to build a car park with that Mosque because so many people park on the walkway. The grass looks so sad and jacked up >> It's never going to grow back.

xD I'm sure they'll think of that.
The Mosque near my house has a small parking lot, but on Fridays
[ when they all go to the Mosque to pray ] there are soooo many people
that the parking lot fills up in a second and then everyone else parks all
the way up the street. It's cray cray.

We also have a small car park at the front of the street but it's mostly used for parents picking up their children from school on the next street (although now I guess the early birds attending prayer park in there). We have a lot of large facilities in the area. We have a council center where activities are held, a public school, a catholic school on the next street. On my street we have a Baptist church, a day care and a hall used temporarily as a Mosque. There are 3 large properties bought by some company. We have NO clue what they're building there but it seems like that it may be apart of the mosque and Islamic school they're building on the next street? Everyone needs more parking in the area. OMG D8

We recently had a 6 story apartment and small shopping centre open up 2 streets down. There are so many construction projects in a VERY small area of my suburb and the house we currently live in is caught up in everything. We initially moved here because it was quiet and away enough from the schools that there weren't parades of screaming children but close enough such that my brother and I could attend school (also we're like 5 mins walk from the train station). Thing is, it's been 14 years since we first moved here and we would've moved away if we weren't so attached to this house and if it wasn't so stupidly convenient to live here. Housing prices in Sydney are currently rocketing. You know houses 2 suburbs down hit the multi-millions. We can't afford that and we don't want to move further west as it's extremely inconvenient for my parents' work and my study commute.

Yes I mean if you wanna see how people misinterpret islam and its teaching you have to look no further than ISIS >>; those fucked up group. And the shootings annd heck even 9/11.

And I remember someone mentioning saudi arabia and how the women are okay with not driving and stuff. I didnt want to comment BUT I did grow up near there AND I do know women from there. They aren't really. I remember one women coming to canada and she was crying at how amazing it was. She was telling me you had to be okay with not driving and being escorted BECAUSE the men think you should be. OR else they teach you a lesson (rape/jail you name it).

BUT the biggest thing that always pisses me off is when a muslim person says I HATE CHRISTIANS OR I HATE JEWISH people. I always go you idiots you all believe in the same god. ><; and the same prophets and the same teachings. AND then they go you don't know anything you bitch. Its so sad because these people ARE taught this ignorance by their leaders. And when you show proof they always go like... really wow. I learned something. And these are not kids these are like 20+. 30+ even some 40+. Its cause their leaders only taught them what they needed for their own purposes.

SAME with any ignorance people
