my thoughts exactly! sometimes it's just painful when i see a beautifully made knuffel, but with only a few changes.
i should get to making my own instead of complaining though XD

Sadly I've also been buying less because the changes were not enough to me. 
There a still a few that I buy, but not nearly as many.

i think he evolves quite nicely :). but the most changes occur between 3-4 and 4-5. i'd suggest moving one change between 1-2 and one between 2-3 for a better balance
