I read HP only up to book 4. I kept skipping stuff in the book 4, actually. the 3rd movie came out and reading the books was giving me anxiety. now I think I would be able to read the series without it, but the whole chosen boy concept is so much not my thing. and I remember some moments that are making me roll my eyes today, so. as much as the worldbuilding is cool, and as much as HP is everywhere today, and as much as whole generations grew up with the series, I probably shouldn't be (re)reading it. for my own and everyone else's good XD
@memoriam: hey, I heard that learning the skill of kicking your own lazy butt is the key step to success! ;)

Definitely go for harry potter!!
Ah I feel like for the most part the language used in the trilogy is pretty ok but i also have a really advanced vocabulary that I take for granted.
As i'm flipping through im seeing some things that could be difficult for non native speakers though. Perhaps something to save for later on.
But HARRY POTTER!!
What houses are people in? OH I should make a poll that would be interesting to see.

@Alice: Yeah, I know, I should be motivated already, I guess I'm mentally weak
@Demareth: I was sure I'm a Hufflepuff with potential for Griffindor, but lately I took a couple tests, and came out to be Slytherin!
Then I took another test, and I was Griffinpuff (it was some mix house test or something) ;>_>

everyone is! it's only easy if it's a habit. which means (1) you should make it a habit and (2) it's going to be hard to make it a habit XD

Im a ravenclaw on pottermore and thats the house i most identify with
but like
i consider myself a slytherclawpuff
the only house i don't identify with is gryffindor XD

@Demareth: Joined pottermore only to see what house I'll get. Sure enough, I'm Hufflepuff XD
BF caught me during the test, he wanted to take it, and was happy (or as he likes to call it "surprised" ;P) to be sorted to Ravenclaw :D He's always been sorted to Griffindor and he considers Griffindor people to be dumb paladins XD /his words, not mine, sorry Griffin peeps ;>_>
