The criminal had a knife and a gun.
He also stabbed the man in the neck - the one that stopped him from stabbing again or shooting.
That's why he stabbed him several times.

Ah, okay, yeah. I still think that's a bit over done, but if they couldn't wrest the gun out of the guy's hand then I understand why they felt the need to continue trying to incapacitate the guy.

I tried to explain he didn't want to trade because he didn't want what she offered.
She continued to complain, so I said I wanted to trade her chocolate bar for my granola bar.
She refused and I said "See >Bu"

I've seen people comment something was wrong, but not report it.
That's not really helpful to staff.
I think people feel bad reporting someone.

Honestly, I think I'd be freaking out about the knife in my neck to do much else in that situation. My attempt at making sure they don't do it to other people will probably only be reporting the incidence to the police after the fact, not detaining the assaulter in any way.

Yeah, I get that. But still, threads won't move themselves,
for example. And for another, some spammers don't return to their threads to see that people asked them not to do it. There was even a case earlier this year where someone went on a spamming spree, finally got reported, I sent them a verbal warning, they kept spamming, I sent them an official warning, they kept spamming, then I banned them for a day, and they STILL kept spamming after they came back. I banned them for a week and then they stopped... but they also stopped coming back to the site.

People do interesting things when they have an adrenaline rush.
I remember this one chick was dancing and she completely ripped her toenail off and didn't notice until she started to relax.

I get hurt so often, I tend to ignore it.
Sometimes I'm bleeding and don't notice until later xD

I saw someone stealing art, and someone responded that they're going to tell the actual artist.
I just reported them because I didn't know if anyone had yet xD

I remember sending warnings to someone, and they got pissed at me and said something like "AT LEAST I HAVE REAL FRIENDS AND NOT ANIME ONES!"

That's true. I still don't think I'm the type of person to beat up someone who stabbed me with a knife. I'd probably be more likely to start freaking out as soon as the knife came out and continue running around with a knife stuck in my neck after the stabbing.

lol people can get so mad. Don't break the rules in the first place. I remember this one person I gave verbal warning to got really mad at me for two lines asking them to mind the post-date. And then they posted in several threads claiming that I verbally flogged them. This is what I wrote them that constituted verbal warning:
