What is the gym bonus?

you get 10 coins for every gym you capture :3
so like.
u capture 5 gyms you get 50 coins, but ONCE YOU COLLECT THE COINS you have a cooldown...

I didn't get any coins when I captured a gym.
What did I do wrong?

you find them in the shop light, it up top in the right hand corner.

And the gym may have been taken down before the time to collect the coins as well?
I don't do gyms so I only know bits n pieces about it

Now I just need like a million more.
I want to get a bag upgrade and then I'm getting incubators.

You can do it multiple times? I thought that there was only the one?

I beat down another gym today. My phone was messing up though so I put a weak pokemon on it by accident. Oh weeelll.
