I guess if they have to break it's a good thing you don't feel it.

I know. :qcry: I wish there was free dental care. How do they expect us to eat? O.o

O.O I'm sure they could but are you sure about doing that? XD You might cut your tongue to pieces. *winces*

Oh, that sucks. :qcry: I was hoping you could find someplace cheaper.

I tried to catch up but you guys talk too much, so I gave up after reading through several pages :mcheh: I did spy some baby talk on the last page though...

I'm kind of in a weird place right now. J and I decided to have a baby (did I say this here already? My memory is so fucking bad now, I can't remember a thing) and so I came off all my medication a few months ago. I had two natural periods (which were not actually too bad; they used to be terrible which is why I was on the pill for so long, but lately with other health stuff and having been on the pill for 12 years, they actually got to a point of being really bad on the pill. So I was pleasantly surprised that I could deal with the natural ones pretty well, back to only one day of pain and five days bleeding. ANYWAY that's beside the point).
So my next period should have come around the 13th-15th this month. And... it didn't. And I've been keeping a thought to my cycle and making sure we're, you know, trying at the right times so that there's a good chance it will work.
Plus on top of that I've been feeling nauseous a few days (obvs it would be too early for morning sickness, but I did read you can get a little sickness around the beginning while your body adjusts), I've been peeing like three times a night which is completely unlike me (30 years of 0 or maybe 1 time in the night, once a fortnight or so lol), my skin has been breaking out in spots like it hasn't in years, and like... all of this plus no period...

So I took a test yesterday. Aaaaand it came back negative. I was like, WTF? I sprung for one of the fancier tests as well that should be able to detect even how far along you are (I think it would be 2-3 weeks). I just... well, I got pretty excited and then felt flat afterwards. But also I can't quite accept it's negative because there's still no period. I haven't even had PMS, which suggests it's not coming for another few days either. I'm making myself wait until the 24th to do another test to see if my period does come, but... ffffff. IDK. I'm almost convinced myself that it was a false negative because I didn't do it first thing in the morning like the instructions said was best, it was around 2pm. Even so, the instructions also said that if my calculations are right then there should be more than enough pregnancy hormone to be able to detect it well.

So either I'm crazy and not pregnant or I am and this is all a lot of unneeded stress, but I guess after taking one test it's far more likely to be the first one, which, yay. I'm crazy. And sad because I started to think about 'Christmas baby' and telling everyone on our family zoom call on the 25th and stuff like that. Gah. I basically ~really~ wanted to be pregnant and kind of wondering whether i can just wish it really hard and maybe it will have been a false negative :mcheh:

jacobgrey: >xD understandable to skip.

I don't know much about pregnancy and stuff, but I would say try a different test.
Sometimes things just don't work right like they should.
I'll never forget the story I was told about my dad and grandpa.
My dad was trying to fix a car, so he went and got a brand new part and he put it on the car and it didn't work.
So he thought something else was wrong.
My grandpa told him "That part isn't any good."
And my dad said "It's BRAND NEW - of course it's good!"
Turns out it was a brand new part, but it was also defective 8u

I do wish you luck on the baby, though :3

jacobgrey-Ok, the first thing you need to do is breathe. XD *hugs* Everything will be fine. When I was pregnant I couldn't get a home pregnancy test to work on me and I tried several. I finally went to the doctor and I was two months pregnant. I don't know why the test worked at the doctor's office but not at home. *shrugs* That didn't give me much faith in the home pregnancy test. Having said that, that was back in 1996 so I'm sure they're better now. Either way, you may or may not be pregnant but if you get stressed it's not good for you or the baby, or for trying to get pregnant. Sorry if I sound preachy, I'm just trying to help. XD You'll get there if you're not already pregnant. I've heard so many people say that it happens when you stop trying. I think the act of trying and checking to see if you're pregnant causes too much stress. Things work better when we're relaxed. Also, I don't know if you're doing this already or not, but after um...baby-making practice :qlol: you could try elevating your lower half with pillows and not getting up for a while. Let gravity do its thing. :qw:

Moi-Through straws. XD That's not good enough but it did crack me up. XD

O.O Ok, but you'll look more like a villain. XD What will your superpowers be?

I've been able to eat and drink with my tooth mostly missing but a chip jammed into the nerve last night and it was very unpleasant 8u

Static shock 8u

I get shocked and shock people and animals constantly.
I was electrocuted when I was a kid, so I say it's how I got my static shock powers 8u

Merry Christmas also 8D

I'm sorry that you got electrocuted. I bet that hurt. *winces* I had a friend when I was a kid that bit an electrical cord when he was a baby and he had a scar on his lip from it. O.O It was a cool scar though. XD

I don't think I've ever been electrocuted. It doesn't sound very fun so I'm pretty glad about that. XD

I remember it feeling really hot and my insides tingling 8u
I was plugging in my radio in our garage when it electrocuted me.
And my family has used the same plug numerous times and it never electrocuted them >_>
I'll say it scarred me for life because I get really anxious when plugging stuff in and unplugging it xD

I don't blame you, I'd be nervous too. O.O

Did you get what you wanted for Christmas?
