I guess so? I wasn't really looking for anything in particular besides money.
My dad gave me some money and I used it to buy a card for my game.
I got another poncho, some socks, some pajamas, a really nice blanket, a custom shirt my aunt had made, and....I think that's about it.
You u8?

It sounds like you got some really great stuff.

Dad's are good for giving money. XD
I got everything I wanted that was reasonable. I want a laptop but I knew that wasn't going to happen right now. XD I got some money too, a hoodie, a shirt, a cardigan, candy in my stocking, some jewelry, and an ornament from my aunt. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Some of that I bought with the money I got. Oh, and Tam sent me an adorable little book.

I was supposed to get this lighted, glass poinsettia ball but they sent me a snowman one instead. :/ I called them about it yesterday and they're supposed to fix it.

I prefer money. I'm not really into clothes or jewelry or makeup or anything one could label as "girly".
Games are my thing.
Give me money or cards I can use in my games or even just buy me a game I want.
I mean, I could use some more pants, but I hate having to try stuff on Bu
That sounds nice 8D
What's the book?
My aunt ordered a hoodie for my dad and did the ordering and I selected fast shipping.
It came late and they sent the wrong color.
I don't know if they ran out of the color she chose or if they're just incompetent.
I want to know if they still charged my aunt for fast shipping when it was LATE >__>

I'm into girly things now more than I was when I was younger. Yeah, and no one wants pants for Christmas. XD
It's called
Punch and Candy at Midnight by Tom Dell'Aringa. It's super cute!
Well, that was just wrong of them. :/ I hope they didn't but I bet they did. Are you going to send it back and get the right color?
What did you do for New Year's Eve? We just pigged out. XD

Nah, we wrapped it and are going to give it to my dad.
I did absolutely nothing like always 8u
We had some red grape juice my aunt got from work and it was really good.
My aunt decided to be a psychotic bitch a few days ago and start a fight with my mom out of nowhere.
And like always, my aunt is the victim and everything she does or says is right and everyone else is wrong.

I had an amazing amount of presents this year given that I literally cut off half my family haha. I think J's family decided to overcompensate by showering me with love. It was pretty nice :3 and we did a Zoom call with everyone on Christmas Day so we could unwrap the presents together.
Also, I'm not pregnant lol. Yet, anyway. I spent a good few days being very, very bummed but I'm okay now. Just vegged out massively over Christmas and New Years. I had champagne and I wouldn't have been able to do that, so that's one good thing.
I also bought myself a laptop because I finally had enough of how useless my current one was XD I've been using the new one for the first time properly today as I was back to work, and it's made me work very fast. I didn't fully register how awful it was that it used to take me 15 minutes to load up a Word document until I started using this new laptop that loads them instantly

I'm glad you had a good one :3
Dammit >8u
Well, you can keep trying. I hear trying is fun u8
I'm totally jealous of this laptop 8,u
I'm actually gonna need a new PC soon, I think.
Mine's been kinda acting up.
It's like 5-6 years old, I think.

Heeeey, kittens!

I disappeared into thin air, sorry for that
I've been pretty busy (and hyped up) about the holidays preparations, then celebrating (I'm tremendously happy about my presents but I'm even happier that the ones I gifted were spot on, according to my fam and Ash). Then I wanted some screen break after the holidays and the New Year so now I'm back
@jacob: Sorry you're not pregnant yet, but also I kind of want to congratulate you, because pregancy during the pandemic doesn't sound fun. Plus you still have time to do/eat/drink things you won't be able to when you get pregnant.
Haha, yeah, the transition from the old to new laptop is awesome. You're suddenly realizing how much time and sometimes nerves you've been losing and now you're wondering how did you even put up with that old shit XD
I would love to buy my dad a new pc or a laptop, because his is still operating on Windows 7, the screen has a colony of dead pixels and the machine is so slow that he literally can't open a browser without a crash. But he also depends on his brother's generosity, he gave him the old stuff, but man, dad needs a transition. And I'd need huge help from Ash to find a laptop/pc that would allow dad to do his stuff like recording music etc. Maybe I'll try to get him something for his b-day... But it'll probably kill another chunk of my savings

I had a lot of fun wrapping presents as well this year, I did everything super nice with ribbons and handmade tags :3 I think it's going to be my 'thing' that I do, and everyone will get to know that this is how my presents look kind of thing.
Ugh my god so many stressful things have been avoided with this new laptop XD I tried to use my old one to transfer some files and I was using the new laptop at the exact same time. Literally, for every click I made on the old one waiting for it to then complete the task, I could do an average of three clicks on the new one. It's three times faster XD and that's not even counting load speeds for programs. I used to have to shut down absolutely everything else and wait 15 mins for Photoshop. on this one, I opened it up in the background by accident and it immediately loaded in and I didn't even notice because nothing else slowed down XD

I still need to improve my wrapping skill. It's decent, but not nearly what I'd like it to be.
Lol, exactly, it's fun xD
