@Sunshine: Hmm, well, did you verify your email? If you have, and you keep receiving the same message, perhaps it's some sort of error. If you notify the admin or the moderators, they may be able to look into that for you. [I wouldn't recommend you messaging Starkad though. He may take a while to respond.] You can check the list of staff on the Member's list under "Community" at the top.
Hmm, I can't say for sure, but it seems active enough to me. I mean, I don't know about a lot, but since users come from all around the world, I always feel like there's someone to talk to if you're at the right place at the right time, aha.
@Errisa: Ah, yeah, like that.
Oh, very nice. No matter how old I get, I always enjoy YA novels.
Geez, that's awful. When I've set my eye on a couple in a series, I would hope that they'd stay together. It's kinda sad when they don't, but as Ocean tells me, it's the author/creator's right. *facepalm*
Yes, the girl was pretty much the goal/prize in the movie. Bleh.
Not very dignified...
@Lacrimosa: I don't stop to look at avatars, generally --when I look at the sub-forum and see that my thread has been updated, I just go to automatically respond.
My friend IRL do tease me about being deaf and blind. *facepalm* But at least I generally get shotgun so I can hear the conversation, pfft. I'm like an old man. *facepalm*
Aha, is that why we are talking now?
*nod* I find it easier to understand people online, and I think it's easier to share things here. I find it interesting when I know a person both online and IRL though; they seem to have different personalities depending on whether I'm talking to them IRL or online. XD I have one friend who I thought was a girl, but then when I met him IRL, he turned out to be a guy. Go figure, pfft.
Yeah... my gang and I have known each other for years, so we're generally prepared when the birthday thing or an ice breaker comes up. There's always new people joining us though. :) I kinda like it; I like meeting new peeps.
Thanks!
