Yeah I've seen that too.
I don't dislike Bananarama but it gets boring after a while.
And, while I don't own a lot of it, I LOVE looking at lunatic fringe clothes

Same, they're just too simple in design for me. I've never been able to get them to work. Most of my commons are from LF c:

I'm totally considering getting the Nike Air Max Thea ;A;
They look so comfy and they're black so they'll match my gym clothes.
However, I don't want to spend 140$ rn 8u

Not to mention I have 200$ worth of pending money on Paypal. God damn it paypal >>They always hold onto my money for 2 weeks despite the fact that I have working tracking information and received feedback from my customers.
Gosh.

There's no way I will ever pay so much for shoes.

As for paypal I rarely have this problem if ever. Only once when I played shopping service for a friend.
Then again I rarely use paypal.
Thing is, nearly all the money in my paypal is in USD, if I convert it to euro I loose money and I don't know enough Japanese yet to figure out how to send my money to that account (that and I don't know how long more I'll be able to stay) so basically my paypal money stays here and waits until I buy something online. Which is nearly never.
I should just donate to KOFK -___-

This is such a lovely initiative. I really want to purchase my trial knuffel. :qcute:

As for sneakers, I recently bought a pair of plain grey Skechers with a memory foam insole, and they are incredibly comfortable, like walking on a really thick yoga mat all day long. I have a high arch, but it sits pretty far forward on my foot, and I often have the same issue with the arch on the shoe digging into my heel. My mother found the pair i bought too narrow, but I see they have wide fit options as well.

@Kuuki: They're actually not as expensive as my current pair. My current ones were around $200 D: I've only gotten this problem recently when I started selling more expensive items like my Alice McCall top and a Calvin Klein suit. The US dollar is so high though ;-; the AUD keeps dropping. It makes me sad.
I want to buy a rolling pin from the US but it'll end up being 100$ inclusive of shipping LOL

Maybe you should. Or buy things in Japan?

Hi Lily c: Nice to meet you! I sent you the trade. I've never heard of skechers but apparently a website I frequent stocks them O: I'll take a look at their trainers. Do you know which model is good? I really like white sneakers but I just know they'll get dirty.

Thank you so much!

All their models with memory foam insoles are really comfortable. I have these, and they are stylish enough to wear with regular clothes when I walk a lot. I've used them for light hiking, and they are supportive enough for that, though they also have sports models made specifically for jogging.

Thing is, I'm not ready to shell out more than 100$ for a pair of shoes that won't even last me a year. If it's going to break anyway I'd rather go the cheap road.
As of now I earn money in three different moneys so it feels like whichever drops I don't really loose out. But yeah I usually try to buy directly in Japan because it's easier.

@lily: Oh wow, I love that gray *A* The store I'm looking at doesn't seem to stock it though. They have these strange slip on shoes those. They look like sock shoes haha.

I don't know have much experience with memory foam shoes so I'm not even sure how comfortable those would be. I just know they're nice to squeeze in the case of a neck pillow.

@Kuuki: I've never had an expensive shoe not last me 5 or more years. My current pair I've been wearing for 3. I just don't think it's very comfortable depending on the way I walk. $30 shoes barely last me a year.
I know you're working in Japan but how are you getting currencies from 3 countries @__@?

Unfortunately things tend to be hella more expensive in Aus than elsewhere.

You're really lucky then. The new balance I bought are starting to show signs of dying soon. I bought them last april. I seem to have a strange way to walk ^^
I still have my French bank account that gives me interest which is in euro, then I freelance for a US company that pays me in dollars, and I work in Japan. So yeah, currently trying to make sense of everything in three currencies ^^

Woooooowww, that must make things difficult and I bet transferring between accounts is a pain!

Maybe. Do you slant a particular way? I have the tendency to rock back and forth on my heels so the outer sides of my heels get chipped away and they look all frayed and gross. If they're work shoes I slant inwards so my heel is on a diagonal. I've over worn various shoes but they usually last me long. I worn my first pair of Vans so much there was a hole in the toe. It lasted me 2-3 years though. Usually I throw shoes out because I can't get the dirt out of them or they're simply just old. Sometimes new things are nice even though not needed.
