@Zeus: I see. That explains the correlation.
Personally I cannot bring myself to watch ongoing anime, and Fairy Tail is ongiong, so unless you can handle anime cliffhangers... Plus I just prefer manga as a medium more. I've heard Inuyasha is good to, at least the manga is, and it's complete (a big plus point in my view :qlol: )

+@Lotus Locust:
True, manga is always the first one to finish than the anime. I also heard it too that Inuyasha is good though I still haven't watched it yet lol.

I sometimes prefer the animes that have complete episodes than the ones that are ongoing. Do you know HunterXHunter? It's a good action anime though they are still kids, it is still good(well for me).

@Zeus: I heard about HunterxHunter all right, it's currently airing in Animax where I live. However I heard that it's really sad and well... sad by anime standards is terribly heart wrenching so I was scared off trying it out so far.
What about Monster? The anime supposedly follows the manga very faithfully, I always appreciate an anime that does that (if the manga came out before and they developed the anime from it.)

Wow, we've got two new members on board ^_^
Hello and welcome to the both of you @Zeus and @Lotus :)
Speaking of anime, I haven't been watching that much lately.
Or maybe I was just too lazy to pick up the remote and surf every channels on tv that I know were showing animes lol
But hey, I know HunterXHunter. One local tv channel here in the Philippines is currently airing it. I just don't have an idea on what episode they are right now.

Thanks guys for chatting and making this place active!

@elaine
Oh wow thanks for volunteering.
It's alright, no need to rush things up.
Prioritize your exams first :)

Hey, welcome to the hangout!! :D
As for anime like Naruto, I'm guessing all the other major shounen jump anime like Bleach and One Piece? Personally I've only watched One Piece and it's qite funny and adventurous! The characters are all lovable too so I think it's definitely worth a try, despite that it has over 700+ chapters and is still going orz But I know the art style is a turn off apparently? But if you can get by that, I think it works out ^-^

Fairy Tail is also pretty big, but I don't like that one as much anymore...

But speaking of anime in general, I haven't been watching ANYTHING but Kuroko no Basket, even though I finished that a month ago.. I tried moving onto Haikyuu!! (which I loved btw) but idk Kuroko no Basket "hangover"; I can't get over it D: This must be the definition of obsession.

  • » @fielkun:
Np! I can't wait to see what you do to the place :D
  • » @elaine:
Ooh dentistry is interesting :D What made you decide to go for it? o.O

I'm at that age where I'm supposed to be thinking about what I want and idk so I hope the questions don't bother you ;w;

@Lotus Locust
- Yeah but sometimes the plot and ending in the anime is better than the manga.
Sometimes I like the original plot in the manga and sometimes I don't. It depends which but I do prefer anime that is based in the manga.

@Fielkun
- I am sometimes lazy too in watching the tv and tbh I prefer surfing the episodes in the net rather than watching tv. I sometimes don't have time to watch some so I prefer surfing the net. Sometimes I feel lazy because I don't want to watch them ongoing yet. I feel dissatisfied and impatient to watch the next episode lol

@Princess
- Yeah, Naruto looks better in anime than the manga but I still think it looks fine since it may be based on the anime. I haven't watched One piece yet but maybe when I have time like Holidays or sembreaks(I'm even busy on weekends -.-') I'll watch it

I never heard of Kuroko no Basket before. I guess it's been long since I watched any other animes other than Naruto(my friend always making me watch the new episodes while I'm busy). I'll try to watch it when I have time too lol

I actually haven't watched the anime for Naruto save for a few episodes in the beginning xD Maybe that's why I can't remember who's who sometimes orz But yeah, I feel you! I'm really busy all the time these days; I haven't been able to watch any anime ;u; but I could read a few chapters here and there!

Also, Kuroko no Basket is a sports anime so I suppose it's outside your preferred genre xD But I love it so much, especially every character and the character development. It can seem a bit unrealistic with everyone's "special abilities" (they're not magical powers or anything like that though) but I think it makes it all really interesting c:

  • » @elaine:
I see xD That's the ideal! Is it difficult for you atm? o.O

Sports anime are all kind of similar but SO addictive. When I made the mistake of watching the first episode of Hikaru no Go, that was it, I was in a trance-watching state for like a month.
There are definitely anime that I found better than their original manga, Hikaru no Go is one of them. Also Cardcaptor Sakura.
@Princess: I'm going to be finishing high school in a year or so and I need to decide on what I'd like to do, too. And quickly, because I'll have to prepare because everything has an entrance exam :mcdead:
