The way I see it if you wanted children, you'd have them. It's not for everyone.

The thought of having kids grosses me out. Like I can't deal with even the thought. Ew.

But so many people are obsessed with having them. Freaking obsessed. And they just keep doing it. A couple of kids (biologically) should be enough for anyone. Adopt as many as you can love and care for.

One is enough for me. lol

There are people who think that there's something seriously wrong with childfree folks
One of them mommyjacked the Holocaust, of all things
Mommyjacking is kinda dumb to me, but that. That's just wrong

I feel that. Especially since you don't have a partner. Having more than one would be super overwhelming.

My mom had 3 on her own. And uh. You can definitely tell how poorly she did with the raising. I was the only one that came out half ok and I'm super fucked up. lol. Not that single parents can't do it alone, of course. It's just easier when you have a partner or co parenter to help.


Oh man. I know that. Some of those parents are like man, the earth revolves around me and my spawn.

I still definitely respect single mothers a ton. Or single fathers for that matter.

Sometimes it's about pets
Sometimes it's ranting about shit parents
Sometimes it's about HEY LOOK A MIRACLE SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY PARENT
And sometimes we see threats from mombies and dadbies because they're likely bitter they were suckered into the whole "get married and have kids" thing people shove down our throats practically from the cradle
Yes, there are people who genuinely like that. But there's also those that don't. And there's those that claim they do and secretly they don't and thus get pissed at everyone who didn't get suckered into it like them

Single parents who do it right, yes, they get respect for that. Single parents who are shit, nah

One thing, though:
A five year old can declare that they want twenty kids and get praised but someone in their teens who states that they don't want kids is too young to decide that they don't want any
Sure a teen isn't still fully matured, but they're a lot more mature than a kid barely out of toddlerhood, who probably doesn't even know what the hell they're saying

I was originally going to be one of those no children people, but things had changed for me. Not saying it'll change for you. But I made a mistake and now I have a beautiful little girl whom I love. I prefer to parent alone. I'm one of those who wants it my way. Probably why I could never get into a relationship. XD And I don't like it when someone goes over my head. Though I guess I do have my parents help with raising her.
