I think on Firn's behalf she sees the old versions and an eyesore. I can understand with my own art. So she is not seeing the items as we do and why we fell in love with the item. She wants to update the art so the site looks nice. I think overall it has been good, but some of the old Items are not as great as the old.
I miss the old Midnight coloring how they use to glow. It was so awesome.

Ooh the midnight colouring yes.
I can see why she wants it, but it's a shame that a lot of the shade and highlights have gone out of the designs. Most stuff does feel quite flat lately with the colours and shades.
(<- super technical art words, obvs)

Yeah, the switch to only two shades per color instead of three really contributed to that effect I think.

I do like a lot of the Items Firn has been making. They look really good. and I hope she keeps making backgrounds like the Seraph and Summer '18 beach backgrounds. The lineless with fades really help push the avatar forward.
