You have power of speed; you can slow something down with a touch (they LOVE you in hospitals, to give them time to assess and prep while the patient is put into something close to stasis), or speed something up (although you've discovered you can't just take a plant from seed to harvest because even if you solve the water need they can't get enough sun for energy to sustain it, so they just grow up and die early like a sprout placed somewhere dark).
