Its about a post apocalyptic country that hosts an arena game like Rome did to kill people and the resulting war. Its the last book of The Hunger Games.

First time reading. But its pretty decent so far, almost at the end; I've heard the ending is terrible.

Ohhh...I was thinking of a different book then. I don't watch a lot of television either - in fact, we have to...ahem..find ways to watch this show as it's on a cable station we may or may not have. :p Game of Thrones and True Blood - my obsessions at the moment.

I'm just on three - I hear he means to write at least two more in the series. I find that my favorite characters keep changing.

I love Tyrion. I liked Arya but right now her chapters seem so boring. I was a big fan of Daenarys as well but the same as Arya, she's stagnant right now. I loved her and Khall. </3 Oddly enough, I really like Jon and Ygritte. I think Tyrion is my favorite overarching tho. And I really love Melisandra and I don't like Cersai but I love her character - and Jamie has grown on me for that matter as well. Tho, he's still scum for one thing in particular he's done.

it took me up until book (i think) 6 to decide if Melisandra was a good character or bad character. she is a tough one.

yea i think he said there would be 2 more books, but technically he intended on the last 2 books to just be one book, so who knows, there might be 4 more books. i hope not. but who knows.

I have my ideas about Melisandra - I think she's evil but I have no way of knowing it for sure at this point.

the girl who plays Margaery Tyrell in the tv movies is so perfect. at least i think so. i saw who they had cast and i said, "oh she is perfect". do you know who i am talking about?
i didnt really like the girl that they cast as Ygritte, but she is growing on me.

Margaery - The girl who was married to ...oh it's hard to talk about without spoiling things. I believe I know who she is and she is a brilliant cast. I think the entire show was cast amazingly. Even the characters who you are meant to hate are great in their roles. I really love the actress who plays Cersai - I mean...she's just great in her role.
