Hopefully it will work. Pray for me
Well, if they're a sadist then they'll hardly care for the consent, right?
Empathy is rare in workplaces, especially in corporations.
Yes, contracts sometimes save your ass, but then if your contractor wants to screw you over and doesn't give a fart about the contract, then you still have to lose time and effort and nerves to go to court. And courts aren't very fast, at least not where I live.

I believe in you! You can do it!
I think that's a bad stereotype. Though I am mostly talking about BDSM sadists. I don't know too much about not good sadists. Consent is VERY important in BDSM.
Corporations don't have empathy because they're not people. I hate that people try to treat corporations like people. They are not!
I think people like to hide behind rules and regulations to fuck people over. I don't like those kinds of people.
That is true.
I've come to the conclusion that most people are awful, honestly.

Thanks
BDSM is kind of a different story, I think.
Corporation is made of people though. And that's maybe why.

Hm, politicians much? XD
Ugh, sad, but it's true. I'm happy I mostly run into nice people but some are ridiculously just pricks.

BDSM is always a different story. It do it a real bad rep though. People be hating on stuff they know nothing about.
Yes but we all know that crowds make poor decisions. I feel like a corporation is basically just a crowd trying to make money. And they suck.
There are some super awful politicians. I definitely think that there needs to be a limit on how long each one can be in office. On ALL of them. The longer they're in, the more corrupt they get, usually.
Being a queer neurodivergent person really makes you realize how awful some people are. Like I just be minding my own business and people will mock me. It's no good.
I think if you look and act 'normal' then people are generally nice.

@redk5: Yup, trade sent :)
@Debra: I completely forgot about this thread, sorry, lol.
Yeah, people are quick to judge yet notwilling to listen or learn.
light_sucks wrote:I think if you look and act 'normal' then people are generally nice.
Hm, I think that's not necessarily true. Normal is not the same thing for everybody, people be moody and some just be mean to be mean.

No worries.
Well, I'm certainly not saying 'normal' people don't have their problems, they do. But it's easier on them.
When I say normal, I mean able-bodied, medium weight, mostly clear complexion kind of people.
If you have any type of mobility device or bad acne or are fat people will avoid you like nobody's business. And some people will be very aggressive to them.

I wanted to say something like this but decided against it

@Debra: It really is easier for people who don't have visible anomalies about them.
Well, it's the people who react not the people reacted to, that are the problem. Unfortunately you can't do anything about it, which is sad. Thick skulls be thick.
@redk5: Oh, why did you decide against it?

I guess all we can do is try to teach tolerance and acceptance. And just exclude and shame the people who act awful.
