It was so long ago though

I always found it weird how the seasons are reversed - you guys spend christmas on the beaches while I have this image of reading a book by the fireplace and drinking some hot cocoa while it's snowing outside (not that it snows here but oh well).

Though I don't live near a beach. Though I used to, sort of.

I live in a rural country town now

Haha I'm lucky enough to live by the sea in my hometown. Currently, I'm in Athens and the beach is like an hour away from me (still nothing too bad) so I spend most of my summer there.

Is the beach too far away from you now? :(

I think the nearest beach is a hour or more away, while not bad I don't have a car. My fiance does but yeah.

I get cold easily and I can't swim well.. also scared of our uh dangerous sea animals

and well you know what australia's like on animals...we have a lot of the world's most dangerous ones
