Good luck Kira. I'm doing really good right now. Finally got a working laptop. Desktop and old laptop crapped out on me and then bought a new one and the damn asus one didn't work for anything. So now my HP Star Wars laptop and I are happy together. Finally got money I've been waiting several months for to come in lol.

Glad you are doing good.

Thanks! (I'll need the luck)

Yay for new computers! I got an ASUS All in One PC which works perfectly fine for my brother and me. But the HP Star Wars one sounds cool too *nod nod*

It's not over yet.
There's a lot to look forward to.
Keep going.
You can do this :)

That is the beauty in all his glory. The guy I guess at Best Buy when I went to get the asus to begin with was pushing me towards a more expensive one because he knew it wouldn't work but I didn't know that the fiance was talking to him, I was looking at printers and staring at my pretty drawing tablet I was going to pick up that same day too. So I was kinda out of it lol.

Ohh congrats Youri! :qh: That's wonderful news! Guess what, I got a new laptop tooz  for college. Because my current one didn't meet the minimum specs. (Plus I've been hoping for a new one for a while because my laptop... the mouse and sound don't work. Lol.) This new one's a Lenovo Thinkpad. I love it!

However I have software on my old one that I don't want to give up. :mcconf: I'm sure I can configure my drawing tablet multiple places but do I have to buy drawing software over? (I couldn't move my VOCALOID software from one hard drive to another, so I lost it forever and it broke my heart :mccry:)

Wow Amba I hope you can figure it out. I returned my drawing tablet, didn't see the point in keeping it anymore. >.> I got excited for nothing with that laptop. I had to return it. And then got a another one and returned it as well.... Spent 21$ short of 1 grand at Best Buy and got a stupid gift card with the money back instead of my case because I didn't find out how crappy the laptops were til the 14 days were up so you can't get the original funds back. ;; But the fiance forced his old desktop on me and I guess every month I will be buying a new piece to upgrade it til it's better than his hahaha.

I wished I knew what to say about the software. I hope you can find it out. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to but you can always ask the maker of it and see what they say. I truly hope it works out.

How is everyone doing?

Geez, that's annoying as heck. My laptop was bought online after watching and reading online reviews... I have no idea though if that would be more reliable though than buying from a shop or if I was just lucky. I mean even after going and getting info about the laptop at the shop... I wonder how they stay in business selling crappy laptops, ugh. That's nice of your fiance though, and that's a good plan xD.

Kira got into law school  she's already left for college and I expect she's busy settling down there. I'm leaving for college as well, in about a week. I'm excited but scared too! I shall have to woman up and conquer the baby in me >.<

Well I am so happy to hear that. I hope things go well for you and Kira. Good luck to the both of you :qh:

I think you were lucky as heck. We made the mistake of listening to the idiots at the store about two of the laptops, and then the last I got was brand new. Like just came out in June and it had issues. Heck it wouldn't even acknowledge my external harddrive at all. Acted like it wasn't there when I tried to click on it and then say it's ready to use, so ya can't use that at all since everything is on it. Like every single thing I use for photoshop and photos of my cats are on it so if it can't be seen non stop then it's a bad thing.

I wish you the best of luck and enjoy the new school~

Being brand new and like that? :mcomg: That's crazy! Was that something wrong with the slot? Well it's obvious it wasn't something that could be fixed in any case cause you had to return it. That's ridiculous :mcangry:

Aw thank you! :mcsquee: :qh:

Funny thing is the drive was readable with the first two laptops I bought and the desktop I'm using right now. Hell even my crap Vaio it read it. And if I can see it and use it right now, there was something majorly wrong with that laptop. Asus needs to just stick with gaming ones and not branch out. I had two regualar ones from them and both had issues. And the Asus was the brand spanking new one I just returned lol. :mcsweat:
