I don't know if I'm better yet. I'm not as moody today. I got pissed at the fucking filth we've been having in the apartment so I decided to just have a cleaning day all on my own (Ash was out helping a friend move into a new apartment). It's super hot and it was tiring af. I was kind of expecting for my period to strike halfway through the cleaning but nope. My boobs are still killing me. And my spine, jeez, I usually don't get this but this month it's really uncomfortable. Thank God I learned yoga poses that I can do to relieve that for a moment.
I noticed I really don't have much energy, had to take frequent breaks. Maybe it's the heat. And I couldn't really focus XD I should check myself for that adult adhd, Idk. My psychiatrist recommended two doctors who specialize in that more than she does so I could get a second opinion. I just keep forgetting :mcdead:

@periods: My sister taught me how to use tampons xD I think we were on vacation somewhere by the sea. Lol.
I would prefer tampons, because I actually don't feel them, but the fact they intensify my cramps is a big no-no. So I settle for pads, but I really dislike them too XD I always feel like I'm wearing a diaper and I buy the thin kind. It's just uncomfortable. Plus all the waste. I'll look into cups, I promise :mcheh:

@jacob: That buggy sounds awesome! :mcgasp: I didn't even know such things existed!

It can be the heat and part of the PMS. I actually get really weak when mine is about to start and while I have my period.
I'm also Anemic and it could be why xD
I hope you start feeling better soon :\

I was in my late 20s when I decided to start using tampons.
My mom was away and I didn't want to talk to my aunt, so I searched the internet.
I eventually got how to use them, but wasted a bunch of them u8;

I used to have these tight shorts I liked wearing during my period. It made me feel...more secure? Like with the pads and everything - it made it snugger and I felt safer.
It's hard to explain 8u

I think it about a year after my first period that everyone went swimming and I was on my period. Really wanted to join my friends, so practiced for an entire afternoon with tampons. I don't feel them, if I feel them, it's simply not in the right place.

Dunno, I really like my washable pads though, they're not wet, if they're truly starting to feel a little wet, it's usually time to change. Throw away one's I might be able to use a little bit longer, but I really dislike the smell, I started to like my vagina a bit better when using these now. :) It's just regular blood. Not smelly, just... well, blood. >.> Throw away pads really make it nasty.

@ Jacob: Ah, I keep forgetting Ikea's apparently not cheap everywhere, but I dunno, I always feel that their price/quality is quite ok. I've compared the Netherlands and Hungary and it seems the same. Like, I just bought cups, the cheapers one's are 290 HUF, which is €0,82. That's not much. In the Netherlands €0,79, even less. VAT is a bit higher in Hungary.

Buggy sounds good, hope you'll get good use out of it. :)

I've never gone into water while on my period.
My mom and aunt have told me to go soak in a tub but that kinda...disturbs me?
Anyone else ever felt that way xD;

I'm glad you found something you like, though. That's always good for stuff like this :3

Last time I went into water with a tampon was last year, at a wedding party. We went to a jaccuzzi for a bit. I specifically bought tampons because I knew I'd be on my period but I really wanted to get on that jaccuzzi shit XD And it also confirmed my theory that tampons make my cramps stronger and last longer. So I would only use tampons in such "emergencies" now.

Oh yeah, the smell is off-putting. I can always just smell myself even when I barely began bleeding and it's icky. (I generally can smell myself even when not on my period, so it's still icky, lol). Plus it adds to my social anxiety, my brain is like: "if you can smell it, everybody can! :mcomg: " But whenever I asked Ash about it, he says he doesn't smell anything from me.
Might be I'm just highly sensitive that way. It's not the only instance of my sense of smell being much more sensitive than his. :mcheh:

I woke up at 4/5-ish in the morning with some cramps, was sure the time has come. But it's now almost midnight and still nothing xD My uterus is doing me dirty :mcmeh: Usually the moment I start hoping for a pregnancy, I start bleeding, but so far no "luck" :mclol: It's just one day late, so nothing to overthink. I'll just wait patiently, because that fucker always comes sooner or later.

Anyways, I spent my weekend cleaning the apartment XD But at least I'm on vacation this week, so I can and want to actually do stuff for my business during the week. Treat it like a normal job week. I'm quite excited tbh, that's new, lol :mcgrin:

Awww :\
Did the jacuzzi water seem to help at all?
Like...warm water I mean u8

You might just have a good sense of smell.
I've had issues like that, but no one has ever noticed.
I found these wipes that I liked using.
They smell good and I feel cleaner when I use them.
Unfortunately, they disappeared so I guess someone else liked them too 8u

You know, that happens to me too. My period just toys with me Bu
Usually it's because I have something planned and so it literally WAITS until then.
Like...it knows what it's doing >>

I hope your week goes good 8u

I literally have no idea if the water was helping because I already was on very strong pain killers :mcheh:
I was more concerned about my boobs jumping out of the bikini top because, you know, I bought it when my boobs were normal and then they were still a little bigger from pms and threatening to flash people. Luckily that didn't happen :mclaugh:

I probably do. Ash calls me a hound sometimes, often when I tell him I smell something and he can't smell a thing :mclaugh: Maybe I'm a blood hound, lol :mclol: If I were a dog, maybe. But I'm more of a cat by nature anyways.

Yeah, that exactly what happened on that wedding :mclol: But my period does the same for small things, like I'll plan togo out grocery shopping and then BAM I can't move :mcsweat:
Like right now, it's already 11 a.m. and I've done all the housework I wanted to do. All I needed to do was wait for Ash to finish a meeting and then we could go to the farmer's market (still waiting, lol), and after that I wanted to finally sit down to business. Before Ash even started that meeting, I got my period XD Hopefully I'll be better after a pain killer. But still, that's just effing mean of my uterus :mcmeh:

Yeah, that woulda been awkward u8

I know my mom can't smell things like I can.
My sister has a good sense of smell too.

I remember going out of town and my period started randomly and I was unprepared for it.
My dad told me "You gotta keep track of that stuff!" and it irked me.
Because it came out of nowhere xD
It was literally not time yet >>
It HAD to ruin my weekend >Bu

I like to think I'd make it into a joke if I actually flashed people, but Idk, maybe I'd go drown myself from embarrassment :mclol: We'll never know, lol.

Haha, yup, sometimes even when you keep track, this thing just creeps up on you :mcheh:
My sister keeps recommending that menstrual cycle app to me and I'm like... but what for? It's no use for me, in my case it's just counting to 28 +/- 1-2 days of wiggle room and it doesn't hold the space on my phone, there's enough shit there already :mcdead:

I don't know what I'd do xD;

I wanna take a red marker or pen and put a big fat red dot on the day mine starts so I can keep better track of it.
But it tends to shift sometimes Bu
