@Moi yeah that sucks. They make them cheap so you'll be enticed to buy them, and when you do, you realise you can't actually wear them so you have to buy more anyway. As a person working in the fashion industry, I am not at all shy to say that half the fashion industry is a complete scam XD
and I mean half is generous tbh

My wardrobe is super colourful, especially in the last few years XD I wear a lot of bright pink, orange, red, and blue especially. My hair colour changes all the time so I like to have a range of colours which can suit whatever style I'm wearing at that moment. Right now it's bright red, last week it was orange/ginger XD

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me 8u
Joke's on them - I'm too cheap to pay for most clothes u8<

Something else that bugs me is pants and shorts without pockets ._.
Like WHY u8<
I need pockets \>8u/
Where else am I supposed to put keys and money and stuff u8<

Most of the only colorful stuff I own was given to me as gifts 8u
It's not that I hate colorful stuff - I just love black xD;

I sometimes sew my own stuff, and I like that I can pick fabrics I like, line stuff if needed, adapt for my curves. Not everything turns out great though, sometimes I love love an eclectic fabric, but it just doesn't turn out well in a dress.

I'm learning though, picked a super pretty fabric and it turned out great as the top I wanted to sew. <3 I prefer it tucked in now though, I have some high waisted pants, goes better with it. I think. I stink at making photo's though.

Sometimes I prefer stuff without pockets, usually they're not big enough for all my stuff (wallet, sunglasses, extra folded up bag in case of emergency shopping and gum) and some just fit nicer without pocket bulk. Really depends on the style.

I'm a lazy sewist though, often only sew when there's pattern testing going on, we get a deadline and sometimes I get 2 things done in a week.

Otherwise, I really grew a fondness for secondhand stuff, check the brands and quality and only buy if I love. Found some stores where you pay by weight, great for summer dresses. ;D

I can't sew 8,u
I remember trying to make this little...quilt patch thingy for my parents when I was in third grade.
My teacher ended up having to do most of it xD;

My great aunt used to sew a lot. She even made some vests for me to wear when I was a kid.

I don't carry a purse or anything, so the only thing I have is pockets.
And some of my pants don't have them.
I like really deep pockets u8
Could fit a baby giraffe in there.

I can embroider and do beadwork, but making actual clothes is much harder to me :qhehe: I started to learn how to use a sewing machine but I just got too busy. I made one skirt, which was terrible haha. And then I was cutting up old things and sewing them together in new ways, like putting contrast sleeves on shirts, so that was a fun exercise. But I made a lot of mistakes still XD I would need a lot more practice to get anywhere near good.

Today I found out... we're having a boy :D :D :D :D :qh:

I like bags with a long handle, so I can wear them across my chest, I don't want to hold a purse all the time. D: Sometimes I prefer leaving everything at home. :)

Embroidering is neat too, haven't done that in a long, long time, cross stitch I did when I was young, more the "freehand stuff", don't think I'm precise enough for that.

Congrats on the boy! <3 That's great news! Boys are the best for cuddling I think. :qlov:

So no sewing or knitting for me.
And trust me when I say I'd manage to hurt myself somehow xD

Awww congrats x3
Now you can move on to names \8u/

We already picked out names.... about three years ago hahahaaha

to say we've been wanting this a long time is an understatement XD it's one of the reasons we opted to just have a quick and small wedding when Covid cancelled our original plans. So we would be married already to move on to the next phase of our lives and just get on with it XD

Well, then you're all set \8u/
What name is it?
I know I probably already asked, but I can't remember xD;

I wonder if a sewing machine makes it easier.
To be honest, they kind of scare me ._.;
I imagine accidentally just shoving my hand in there.
Because I'm clumsy as hell and manage to always hurt myself.
I almost cut part of my finger off on a meat slicer.
The same meat slicer my dad cut part of his finger off on 8u;
