I believe my mom once had that accident with a sewing machine, the needle just went right through her finger nail and the other side of her finger... :mcdead: She still has a weird bump on that nail from the healing.
So yeah, I'm kind of scared of sewing machines too. And irons. My mom had countless burns from just being clumsy at work (it's part of the reason I absolutely hate ironing and won't touch an iron). Oh, and I think she once jabbed herself with scissors :mcargh:

Damn, Moi, that clumsiness really is genetic :mcomg: Or somebody cursed you with the gene of clumsiness :mcargh: Or maybe your family crossed that meat slicer and it wants its revenge :mclaugh:

I have sewn myself to stuff a surprisingly high number of times when doing embroidery just with a hand needle XD There is a shallow depth you can go through the skin where you don't really feel it at all, but the needle can still manage to fit through. It's more scary than painful XD I usually end up just having to pull the needle outwards and break the skin to get it out. Once I actually sewed something to the clothes I was wearing at the time, because I had the embroidery in my lap. I... shouldn't be allowed sharp things XD

@mem I have the same thing with irons! Not because of my mum or anything though. Just because I'm a scaredy cat XD

@Moi it's Blake :3 We actually had several boy name ideas, but when we came out of the hospital from the scan we looked at each and just knew. That little one on the screen was definitely a Blake :3

I tend to peel potatoes in my hand, so the knife "hits" my thumb lightly. It showed last time, 'cause I just sharpened my knives. :mcheh: But sewing is ok. In general it's hard to shove your fingers under the needle, but it is possible. Well, nothing's impossible I'd say. :mcheh: Never had that. I did get pins in my hand, the main reason I prefer holding fabrics together over pinning together.

Knitting needles aren't super sharp, I did get calluses at one point on my thumb, 'cause I used it all the time to push the thread off the needle. The troubles of handworking. XD

Blake is cute. <3

Mem: There's this show called Bizarre ER which I think is in...the UK? and this woman had a needle sticking through her finger. I'm assuming it was due to a sewing machine. She was like "I got a needle in me finger 8u/"
I was just cringing xD

My dad and I are both so very clumsy. When I get hurt, my mom always says "You are your father's daughter >BU"

jacobgrey: I like that name :3

Sorry for being so inactive lately..... :mcargh: There's been stuff going on irl. Ash and I are looking for a place to move (our lease is ending on Aug 11th), on top of that he said he wants to live on his own for a month or two, so I'll be living with my mom, because I can't imagine living with granny again (especially I visited her not too long ago and I already could not handle the TV...). So yeah, stuff :mcheh: I wanted to slowly start things up for my business but I'm exhausted and my brain poofs on me each morning and only comes back to life at 10-11 pm when it's time for bed :mcargh:

Blake is a cool name, sounds like he's going to be a badass :mccool:

About clumsiness, I'm not sure if I'm clumsy or what, but I bruise really easily, I have since I can remember. So I always have at least 2-3 bruises in random places and I have no ideawhere they came from :mclaugh: So who knows, maybe I'm so absent-minded that I don't even notice if I'm clumsy XD
For example today Ash accidentally made a train of hickeys on my neck, and he really wasn't going hard at it. I look like someone wanted to strangle me or something XD

Awww I'm sorry you've been going through stuff :\
I hope everything will turn out good for you.

I bruise easily too. Because of my clumsiness, I get a lot of bruises and I don't know where they even come from a lot of the time. It's just...a mystery bruise xD

When I was a kid, this girl was about my age and she was murdered.
My dad told me people were saying she was abused because she had like 8 bruises on her body.
He said he ran to me and counted 8 bruises on me and I wasn't abused xD
Kids just get bruises because they're active.

Since I'm disabled, I have to check in with a kind of social worker, I guess you'd call them. Anyways, she asked if I have any bruises on me and I said yes. She asked how I got them and I told her I was clumsy and didn't know. She told me "Well, you need to keep track of how you got them!"
What part of I have no idea where they came from didn't she understand \>8u/

I was trying to remove a blackhead on my cheek and it bruised my face really bad.
I didn't even want to go out because of it.
Well, it happened after the social worker came to check on me.

Me: Well, at least that social worker lady didn't come do my interview now u8
Mom: Yeah 8U
Me: My mom hits me when no one's around u,B
Mom: >XD Don't say that >8U
Me: My mom told me to tell you I fell down the stairs u,B
Mom: >XD ....>BU

I wanted to get out of one of those tiny McD tables and bruised my leg. It just looks so nasty, especially with short shorts and I've been living in those last week. xD

How's the finding a new place going now, Mem? And how's the business going?

I got hit in the calf while carrying a bag of groceries and something in there had a corner and it just gave me a huge bruise ._.

Ouch, those things just really hurt. It'd be ok if it wouldn't bruise so badly.

My mark from 1,5 weeks ago is finally fading. Wonder what the next one will be. :mcheh:

We still have to make the final decision. We found two apartments in similar location and for similar price. Ash is checking out the lease agreements with his step-dad (who's a lawyer). I think he's still looking at other apartments but I think he'll take one of the two.
So that's how that is going.

Regarding business, I'll still be working for my company for the entire August (ugh), and we'll be moving at the beginning of the month so I don't do much business-wise. I try to read and that's basically it for now. I hope to start doing more after we move in August. Although I fear I'll be napping everyday after work, like I do these days. That job is exhausting :mcsweat:
I'll get some money for my unused vacation days... yay... (I'd rather go use them out, but my supervisor got cold feet -a.k.a. he's shitting his pants- and he wants as many people at work as possible because he doesn't have replacement for me, and now it's vacations season, everybody wants time off work, etc., and my team has too much work and we can't keep up, lol).

I'd love to vent about how pathetic that company is but I'm too tired to think of words and make sense of them XD The HR girl is a pain in the ass, I'll only say this much. :mcmeh:
