I've been doing quite good, thanks to Popodoki being online during my daytime and chatting with me about all kinds of stuff :)

Oh nice! I've been falling behind. Just haven't felt so much like talking and it's hard to push myself with it, when I know if I just wait a while it'll come easy again.

I know what you mean, I have to be in a chatty mood for it to go like that too.

I'm staring out the window wondering what I should be doing with the yard, dreading having to interact with a neighbor who is out gardening and trying to come up with excuses to put it off for later... (I like our neighbors, I just don't want to interact with them right now)

Why do you have to interact with them? Just because you want to do something in the yard, so you'll meet them and it will be expected to have a little chat? Or is there something you need to discuss with them?

If it's the former, I'm sure you can find something to occupy yourself with inside the house for a bit and maybe they'll have gone back inside by the time you go out.

Yeah, it's only the polite thing where if you see you are both out you do the social stuff.

Then I do think putting off going outside until a little later is a valid strategy if you're just not feeling social right now. It happens.

It worked, too... it looks like they're packing up their stuff to go inside, and I still have an hour of daylight left!
