I think he's addicted to the workout. He used to be really heavy about 10 years ago, literally he lost like 20 stone by the time we got together (though even when we first met he had already lost a lot of that). So he's very anxious about maintaining his weight/stomach now and not getting fat again. I keep a watchful eye because I do worry that he'll end up with an eating disorder, but so far he eats what he likes and basically goes to the gym to make up for it.

My boyfriend is the epitome of unmotivated. He's only motivated to exercise if I'm there and I can't be there all the time. Also, he hurt his back :c so I need to be gentle with him. He does a lot of lifting at work. Moving Macbooks and laptops about across a school. He used to do cardio but he has a twinge in his ankle so it hurts. I think it might be his shoes. Reminds me, should get him better joggers ovo;
If he keeps eating like that I can grab them love handles even more 8U and he'll also CRUSH ME in his sleep. I tell him, 'maintaining weight is easier than losing weight,' but he's not the type to care for appearances.
@jacob
I guess that does make sense. Yeh, just keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't develop any unhealthy habits. Some guys just like the way it looks (big muscles that is). I have a friend like that. He's hugeeeeeeeee gosh but he's on such a strict diet as well.

@jacob: aw, but being addicted to workout isn't good either....

He can maintain his proper weight without the excessive workout. I would already try talking to him and let him know he worries me if I were you. But that's just me, Idunno ;>_>
@Poshi: Yeah, get him the better joggers 0.0 Can you jog with him? Maybe that would motivate him.

I tell him when it's getting too excessive and he will reign it in a bit. It's his way of blowing off steam though so I don't begrudge him that. Plus he is sensible and he stays home instead if he's sick or tired or he hurt his muscles.

I have horrible knees so running isn't something I do ;~; I'll also have an asthma attack lol
I pretty much exclusively indoor rock climb and I occasionally swat. We need to get a good hike in. I'll just take Goose for walks down to the beach. We haven't done that in a while.
Ah, he has it under control. That's good c: As long as he isn't insistent on no recovery days. Does he have protein powder around the house?

I wish I could exercise as much as I wanted. But right now I have so little energy that I rather use the time to write. :}

@Poshi: Aw, sorry

*blue confetti shower* So you have trouble with sports in general? Yeah, regular walks could do some trick
We have a protein powder!

But we actually rarely use it... We'd both like to gain some weight, so we wanted to exercise and supplement our diet with that protein shake but we've been sick lately. I mean mostly Ash was sick, I just tagged along with my studying, then periods, then sick and what not XD
@Dream: That's mind exercise, is important too!

I was sick all week and wanted to write something but... I kind of kofked the week away...

And wasted half the time on youtube...

Had thousand ideas, couldn't get myself to write ONE of them down
