Some players have the ability to clone Pokemon, sot when they get a shiny they clone a bunch of copies and send them out via Wonder Trade. You can still use the shiny in the game, but if you do any competitive battling you might want to be careful about using ones you get in trade.

I got through a lot of the game the last 2 days (being down with food poisoning will do that to you) so I just cleared Hapu's Trial. Now to summon the guardian Pokemon.
