OMG SO GLAD

One of them is such a spoiled brat. When she was moving out, she was supposed to pack her stuff herself and her guardian will come to pick her up. But she didn't pack at all and waited until her guardian arrived and had the guardian (an elderly lady) pack her stuff and move her heavy boxes for her! She just watched the whole time!

Like WOW.

Also, she totally disregarded our "no food upstairs" rule and left juice stains, sticky candy, crumbs etc all over... We'll have to replace furniture and rent machinery to deep clean the carpet -.-

I hope you can at least bill her for the expenses

These kids were Asian right? From mainland China? Because I’ve always noted that youngsters from mainland China have “second generation” disease. 8U in other words, they’re all spoiled brats. 8U

Yeaaaah we're deducting from her security deposit.
It's just annoying because we can only really charge for this one clearly damaged cabinet. Other small stuff like dirty carpet and scratches on furniture can be argued as "normal wear"

Oh yeah it's totally the second generation disease. Her dad is apparently some surgeon in China and her family is well off. It's sad because not teaching your child respect is unacceptable no matter how rich you are. >_<

on top of that, with rich parents, who's gonna teach them respect and courtesy and such? 8U all they do is use money to solve everything.

Though to be fair, I've also met some second gen chinese students who are very very respectful and nice. Like truly showing that they come from a good family in a positive way.

At the end of the day, I think kids really reflect their parents. I've never met a problematic kid without an equally problematic parent D:

We've done homestay for 4-5 years now, it's nice to finally have our house be just OUR home you know?

My mom even already found a new job doing sales at a local furniture store! She's enjoying being able to leave work behind the minute she gets home XD

Really being able to enjoy your own home is a sweet luxury.
