I have been doing my best XD
Oh man, today I got barely anything done. Bad JG D: I'm officially 10 hours behind on my work haha. And I actually lied to my accountability partner this morning, she rang to see if I was on track with my goals and I said I'd done something that I hadn't. I barely even thought before I said it, I was just too ashamed to admit I had done almost nothing D:
And so of course now I'm here, writing this, instead of getting anything else done D:

Accountability partner? Is that some program where you hold each other accountable for the goals you set for yourself?
Maybe you need to schedule yourself some time off soonish, so you can catch up with things and get some energy back to get back on track?
I'm sure you can do it though, you're the most hardworking person I know.

Well, I made it on time -but barely.
It was a weird day. Some stuff got finished which was well overdue, and others which have waited longer are still sitting there while we all puzzle over the next step. Guess that sounds about right for any life, though.
I need Grog to stay longer, though. Don't have nearly enough donuts for him yet.

I may be wrong, but doesn't he normally stay for a day or two anyway? I don't keep up as much as I would like, but that seems to me that he's staying a lot longer than normal.

Yep, exactly! We call every week to check in on whether we've made the goals we set ourselves.
I haven't got time for time off
Not for a long time. My next free day is March so far, and that's probably only because things haven't made it to be scheduled in yet.

Girl, you need to block some days as really being days off, not let things just happen to schedule themselves in there! How are you supposed to really work efficiently if you never have the chance to take a breather and recharge?
The accountability partners thing sounds like an interesting concept though :)
Glad you made it on time after all Akili :)
I also think it's one of the longer Grog visits we've had recently, Ms Zuralli - but I don't keep track all that closely.
Edit: Yes, got the bunny clips! Now onto the sailor crop tops.. 7/104

I mean, I would love to. I just literally can't afford to stop working for more than a few hours. Going on holiday for a week last year wiped out my savings completely because of the knock-on effect of losing earnings on top of the cost of the trip. And of J losing his job right afterwards, so he was without work for over a month. In the end it 'cost' me more than 10 times what we paid for the original booking once everything was added up. So now I have to work hard and get some savings back, and if I don't, I have no safety net left so I won't be able to pay the bills :/
This is the big problem with freelancing. No guaranteed wage.

That sucks :( I hope you'll manage to recover from that soon so you'll have a bit more safety and are able to destress a bit.
Has J found a new job he's happy with now? :)

Yes, we're just on edge with it still though. After losing two jobs, it's definitely very stressful, thinking constantly that he might lose another one. Everything seems to be going fine, but he has a 3-month probation period that he hasn't finished yet.
I hope so. Haven't made enough yet this month so I'm trying to see where I can get some more work squished in!
