Mem: When I was younger, my mom said my dad was casting spells to make her stay with him because they were divorcing. I was like "What ._."
She called him her "brujo" which basically means male witch in Spanish.
She also said he would perform rain dances and it would rain, but that's more to do with his Native American heritage u8
I know my cousin did tarot card readings but I don't know if she still does it.

jacobgrey: Won't know until we try it \8u/

My bestie told me her OCD was really bad. It made me feel bad for ever saying I had OCD with thins being off-center and out of order xD

@jacob: Great you took the opportunity to get therapy and that it worked out for your benefit! I kind of wish that happened to me, I mightgo and ask for assessment for adhd but then I'll get something completely different, but anyways I'll finally know xD

Yeah, tarot/oracle cards are expensive as they are, the custom ones are even more expensive QuQ That's why I don't go buying more than I really think I want, because I could go bankrupt very easily :mcheh:

@Moi: Oh, wow, that's not the best way to use witchcraft... :mcheh: You can't force things on people, that will get you in trouble eventually.
I wonder how that rain dance works :mclaugh:

Non creo nas meigas, mais habelas hainas. (I don't believe in witches, but they do exist.)
This is an old saying in my region, and I think it says a lot about my cultural heritage.

Mem: I am completely ignorant when it comes to witchcraft, but I do remember my dad mentioning there's some kind of rule that states that whatever you do, you get it back 3x more.
So if you do bad, you get back 3x the bad.
If you do good, you get back 3x the good.
Which is really interesting.

My dad is a very interesting person. He does seem to have this mystical side to him, having to do with our ancestors.

Amura: That's a pretty neat saying.
I don't have a cool way of putting it, but I tend to believe anything is possible.

I tend to disbelief anything :mclaugh:
But I've grown in a culture full of mysticism, and much of it is ingrained in our culture.

Yes, that's the rule of three :)

I basically believe anything is possible but I still question things anyways. I want evidence, resources etc. For me most of the magick is the power of the mind, auto-suggestion, placebo. If it works, it works :mclaugh:

I believe in ghosts and stuff, but I also try to explain things.
Like if a picture randomly falls off the wall, I won't go "OH MY GOD GHOSTS uB" I'll go "Well, the nail must have finally slipped out of the wall 8u"
There's been times where I couldn't find an explanation, so I just assume I hallucinated it xD
Due to mental illness, I do hallucinate. Seeing and hearing.

I am quite similar, Moi. An open mind towards possibilities but also seeing the logical explanation for things XD

Recently I was starting to think our bedroom was haunted... but now I'm starting to think actually there might just be something wrong with my right eye XD I see this kind of shadow that moves when I try to look for it, but only when I'm in bed. But then it occurred to me this is also the only time when I'm lying down, so it's quite possible I have some kind of imbalance which is causing an optical shadow of some kind.

Some people seem to think that if a person believes in ghosts, they have no common sense or logic 8u

It's probably something simple like that, but to tell you the truth I've been seeing something similar in our house.
I'm like 99% sure it's just me hallucinating, but I keep seeing cats running by ._.
I will ask my mom if she saw it and she'll say no and the cats will be in a completely different part of the house >>

We've seen a shadow walking around the house here. It was back when my sister was little. I saw a child sized shadow run past me while I was on the phone and I assumed it was my sister so I kept talking on the phone. My sister walked out about a minute later on the opposite side from where the shadow went ._.
I ended up telling my mom later on and she said "I've seen it too!"

Haha, yeah, it's funny with ghosts. I do believe in them and I watch some spooky shows with people going to haunted places looking for ghosts. All it takes for most of them is the tiniest *swoosh* and they're all oMg iT's A gHoSt! :mclol: Meanwhile I'm watching with good headphones on, being like "that was literally just wind, my dudes :mcmeh: ". They use some ghost hunting equipment but I don't know how that stuff works, so I take their results with a grain of salt.

For some things I can't find an explanation, but I don't assume it must be a ghost. I usually think it's probably a very easy thing to explain, I just don't know enough science and what not.

I sometimes see shadows in the corner of my eye, at various times of the day. I don't immediately think it's something paranormal, but when it gets very frequent during one period of time (or even one day) and it's beginning to make me feel uneasy, I'll sage the apartment or even just pray. That always helped so far (fingers crossed I won't get some hard-to-get-rid-of demon infestation now, lol). Whether it's paranormal or my mind playing tricks on me, if something makes me feel better, why not do it?
Several times I've been home alone, feeling weird and seeing things and a thought came to my mind that maybe there's something messing with me. So then I just caustiously say out loud "hey, you're making me uncomfortable, please stop or go away, if you're here to play mean you're not welcome". Or anything along those lines.

Lately I burned an incense and in my side vision I saw a black cat run by, but I knew 100% it was just the smoke flowing over something black in the background. Still made me think that my Cat Spirit Guide came to visit so I thanked them in my thoughts. Maybe it's silly, but at least it makes me smile and have a nicer day ahead.

That said, I don't really have experience with ghosts. My dad does and it's quite hard not to believe his stories. Unless you want to call him a liar, that is :mclaugh:
