Yeah~, Gabriel is a name for both genders in Germany, too...
but it's written in another way for women...it's Gabrielle... (most of time xD)
I like the name Gabriel, too... It's one of the archangels <3

I don't know the english word for it, but it's "Zar" in german Oo
