You can transfer some?

It means that when you catch, hatch or transfer a Pokemon you get twice the number of candies you would usually get. Which explains how I went from 49 Clefairy candies to 55 after catching just 1 Clefairy. It also means that your buddy will get double the candies for the distance you walk. I need to do a lot of walking with my Dragonair.

I've caught a few pink pokemon today. It's great.

I think the event goes to the 15th (so not all month, unfortunately). Apparently they consider Exeggcute a 'pink' Pokemon. They were everywhere at work today. I caught at least 10 (according to the journal) and had 1 or 2 run away. There were always at least 2 on the sightings, too.
