Not me. I like playing things at least a couple times if I enjoyed them.

The older ones in particular are "make farm get married have kids" where game won is the get married bit
Newer ones tend to have more objectives
Save the Homeland is fairly self-explanatory, and has multiple endings
Several DS ones have you looking for the Harvest Sprites on top of the usual stuff
Seeds of Memories you revive a forgotten farm and the peoples' memories of said farm
Lost Valley, it's recover sprites (happens real quick, rather intentionally...mostly), revive Harvest Goddess (also rather quick), and restore the seasons so that you're no longer in perpetual winter. Course, to do this, ya gotta do the task, get the gem, and then replace it on the bracelet
All while rearranging the entire bleeding mountainside to make it easier to navigate
Yup. You read that right. You get to edit an entire mountainside, though the river they made so you can't block it off entirely, dividing the land into three parts
I'm currently on saving fall
I've read that after you get married and have a kid, the kid eventually falls under an enchanted sleep and you have to yada yada yada forgotten seventh sprite to rouse your brat
I read it once. Forgot the details
Keep in mind that Lost Valley is the first HM after Natsume and the guys who made the series split. Natsume kept names, the other group kept character sprites
The other group made what's known as Story of Seasons

The worst part is that I'm actually very good in games, so I usually beat them very fast. :}

Expansion packs are your friend
So you might be able to do something like be level 20 and beat Fantasy Life, but there's a dozen Lifes to complete, Origin Island which doesn't even activate until level 50, complete with stat upgrades and a whole new rank for each Life...
And then there's ones like Animal Crossing, which don't really have an end

That is why I like the farming games I have. I can just keep playing them as something new gets added every few weeks. :}

That all sounds interesting.
Do the kids you have grow up?
I like playing all kinds of games. My favorites are Skyrim and Fallout but I like Harvest Moon and Pokemon a lot too.

I know the GC ones do
The GBA ones do not, so you can end up with a 90 year old toddler
I don't know about the rest

No one ages in the GBA games
So the lil kids are forever lil kids
The grandma is forever a grandma
In the GC ones, aging, moving, etc occurs
So it's all on the version played
At least the permanent toddler is easy to care for. No feeding or anything
I think right now where I'm at all she does is sleep in bed, and she gets up to crawling around the house, and that's about it
The spouse is useless as fuck tho
