"but you love me without thinking"

That's pretty cute <3

I do the same thing with Alan. He never wants to spend money on himself so I have to make him or I have to buy him the things! :P

That's pretty mature of you <3 Saying you can only change your attitude, not his. Awesome!
I hope this will work out for you *hugs*

Sounds like he loves you :) I see no reason in leaving you, you are such a cutie :D

Poshi wrote:I'm surprised J hasn't mentioned picking out a ring. Have you asked him? Would J want a lot of his family members to attend the reception? I want a small wedding as well. Receptions are expensive anyway =_= they're the most expensive part of the wedding. My friend is currently spending 25K on reception but the thing with 'asian' weddings is you can count of the asian people to gift you money for the wedding gift :3 Weddings aren't meant to leave you in a deficit (or as much) but because we're westernised (growing up in Australia and all), it's a bit different.
I try to hint with him all the time :P actually he's a real softie and pretends he isn't, but he will muse out loud about weddings and kids and stuff when he's not paying attention haha. But he keeps spending all his money on things like new tyres for the car, new laptop, flights to go to his old friend's wedding as a groomsman, and so I know he hasn't got the kind of spare cash to get a ring yet.

I think he won't have a choice with his family >.> his dad is Indian so yeahhhh there's probably going to be a whole lot of them going haha. My family is reasonably large too but I don't know if all of them will come. Some are getting very old and others I plain won't invite, like my uncle who we all pretty much disowned. Sadly that means all his 6 kids don't get invited either even though we used to be close.

I'm kinda scared about changing my name too XD I'm the only one left with this name in the world once my parents die! Since my grandma reverted back to her maiden name after her husband died, and all my dad's siblings are sisters. But I think I'm taking J's name legally, and keeping my own professionally. He got upset before when I mentioned I wanted to keep my name so I thought about it some more. Also one time someone mistakenly called me Mrs Rehal and I kinda squeed to death on hearing it XD

Aw, cuteness! :qsq: You can have a two-part name, right? I know one of our teachers on uni had her name two-parted, her maiden and then her husband's Indian name, so she was Mrs. Wiśniewska-Singh :qsml:

Our names double-barreled would be some kind of nightmare XD mine is hard enough to spell or pronounce as it is hahaha. To be fair it might even be a relief having his much easier name to work with XD

Hello Haze, not much, we were just ranting about boyfriends and talking about marriages and changing our names or not :P

Jacob, poor you, sounds like a hard decision with your name, but you will make the right choice!
I can be a little relieved as I have 3 brothers, two of them having the same name, one of them having 5 children so yeah, at least I know my name won't die out. My uncles and cousins also bear the same name (partly at least), so that's safe :P But still, I kinda connect it with my roots.

Ah mem, everyone can be "mean" sometimes :P

Whoa really???? Only person in the world with your surname? O: Did your grandparents change their name to one they chose? That's pretty cool.

Haha, I would spend all day smirking if I was ever called 'the Mrs' or Ms Krajsic although we're a long way from that. I've seen my boyfriend have to spell out his name way too many times cause it's pronounced Krash-ish??? IDK. Even I can't say it. I usually say Kray-sich like a crayfish sandwich.

I think I'd change my name though it'd be a hassle changing all things like addresses and stuff to have Peter's last name on it
