Guys I have.... a LOT of lava lamps. I can supply ALL the lvl 100 knuffel needed; already have a stash of 33 of them ready to give away, a mix of trial and random-gens.
:qhehe:

I kind of like lava lamps. :qsweat:

We just need someone (or a small group of people) who are willing to run a charity thread and mule, and I shall send them all to that charity mule, and we'd be all set!
Maybe we could break it down into days of the week or something? If everyone who volunteered just had to log onto the mule one day a week and take care of trades, check one day's worth of posts on the threads.... do you think that would be too much to ask, still?
I could probably do a day a week, but I don't have a good handle on how typical my own experiences are, so.... I still don't know if that's a lot to ask or a reasonable amount or what?

(Are weekends busier than weekdays? Maybe we could get around 10 people, so a couple of them for the weekends?)

Hey, this might work! I can do multiple days a week, but not alone if it’s busy.

I’m more likely to be online weekdays than weekends.

Ah, that would be fantastic! I could potentially do more than one too....

let's see....

probably best if we go by SERVER days (when the troth tokens reset) since everyone will be on different time zones. I'll start trying to pay attention to when I'm on, by the server time, so I know which days are better for me. If you can do the same, maybe we can really pull this off!

Okay, I’ll pay attention!

I specified not alone because:
1. I’m a slowish typist,
2. I leave unpredictability,
3. I’m on an iPad and formatting can be a pain.

I’m also thinking of starting a grabbag poetry shop where I write in exchange for people being more active and/or donating a little to kofk. I’d rather see this place thrive than have more stuff, you know?

Yes. But it thrives when people are invested in it, so there's the "let's keep them here" aspect as well as the "let's bring them here" aspect, and I'm really bad at the "let's bring them here" part, so..... so about all I can think of are the things that might help keep them here. I'm really not good at this stuff, I just enjoy KofK and don't want to see it go, so I'm flailing around trying stuff.

That’s why we need everyone to brainstorm ideas—I’m not great with participating in places, but I’d hate to see kofk go. Collectively, we should be able to make a little more activity somehow.

KC: That's actually quite hilarious xD

I guess I haven't read much and also got confused but... what were you guys planning to do? :o

We're trying to figure out the logistics of creating a charity that gives level 100 knuffel out. So new people can dive right into digging in candy island and doing quests and things....
although that specifically came out of a more general brainstorming of:

how do we get more people into KofK
how do we keep these people on KofK
**especially people who can donate**

because Firn just revealed that while there are sadly MOSTLY only months where donations DON'T cover costs (! Must fix ! Somehow!), this month is particularly low.

And since we don't want to see KofK go away, this has to be addressed. Somehow.

I would have some 100lvl knuffs for giveaway, but I wonder how you guys plan to get more people on KOfK? :mcgasp:

That I really don't know.....

I'm not online anywhere much besides here.

I've been trying to create cute bookmarks with the Kofk.de url on them that I'm randomly leaving in books at my library, but as you can tell from that, I'm not... very good at the advertisement/word-of-mouth stuff. Yeah. Let's pretend to be tactful and put it that way.
