I understand, I'm the same. That's why I was wondering. I think social media is the best, but I guess a lot of people would have to actively post and advertise the site. And probably not many would be okay with doing it. Idk.

:/

When I say "I'm familiar with social media" all I mean is that I've heard of Facebook (the one with all the photos you can "tag", right?), and Twitter (the one where everything is posted backwards in terms of chronology and everyone uses abbreviations), and... uh. There were more. Um. Myspace? (that's the journal one where everyone talks about it being full of bad poetry? Maybe?) Errrrr. There are still more. I've got this. Hang on. Wait. Deviantart! Ha! That's clearly for posting art.

Okay yeah I don't know this stuff.

wait wait wait wait no that's not true! I'm on one now, even! It's called Discord and it's the one where people DON'T actually spend all their time arguing and causing chaos, but I'm only on the bit of it that you guys here in KofK showed me, so.... that's not terribly helpful either. I don't have the faintest notion how you would go about advertising KofK on Discord, from the little I've seen of it.

I think the most popular social media nowadays are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Correct me, someone, anyone XD I only have Facebook tho... I'm not very familiar with anything. Oh, and Tumblr is popular too, but I'm not sure what it does XD I think it's kind of like blogging.

Not social media, but maybe Firn could sell digital art prints of the kingdom & related stuff on Etsy? Income+doubles as gentle advertising.

Unfortunately I don't really draw KOfK stuff in a big enough size to make them suitable for art prints. :mcsad:

Do you ever draw traditional stuff? Maybe bookmarks or artist trading cards for kofk?

The important ones are Twitter, FB, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr :mcwink: As Kofk is image-based for the most part, fan-based efforts would be best directed to Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr. Twitter can be useful for links too. The best way to raise awareness would be to post images with captions and links to Kofk, alongside popular art or game hashtags. It needs to be done on a large scale.

Are they a suitable size for stickers, maybe? One of my sisters made stickers for a fundraiser a year or two ago; I can ask her about it and get details for you if you think it might help?

Jacobgrey I don't know how to do that at all, but if you create a tutorial for me I will help.

That would be a lot of tutorial, especially for someone who isn't familiar with the social network already :mcheh: There are plenty of sites out there with guides already but it would be way too much work to create one that was anything more than the basics, which is less than what is needed to really do it effectively.
