The advice here is that only people who have high-risk conditions should get a third shot. I believe it's exactly the same as the other two, it's just that if one gets you 50% vaccinated and two gets you 75% vaccinated then you may as well get three to be 90% vaccinated. [numbers made up off the top of my head and not actual science lol]

I'm getting my second today :D can't wait. I will feel so much better. I'm in the third trimester now and they're saying being fully vaccinated is the difference between being hospitalised and dying vs just having a mild flu for pregnant women.

Shoe sizes, ugh XD I have thin feet. (usually rofl). So depending on the *width* of the shoe I can be a size 3 in one brand and a size 5 in another brand. It's very irritating. I normally just wear size 5s so I got used to having loose shoes, it feels weird when I wear tight ones now haha.

@Moi: I don't think that's cheating. Technology allows you to make better art, use it. I never really did digital, so my experience is mainly with traditional xD But now that I'll have some more time, maybe I'll be able to get back into drawing and actually make some use of my poor neglected graphic tablet that I got from Ash years ago :mcsquee:
I just realized I could make my own logo from scratch like that :mcdead: I'm so stupid sometimes, I swear, my brains go inside out XD

Well, after my sister got her second dose, she almost immediately got covid and she only had symptoms of a mild cold, so what they say seems to be checking out. :mcgrin:

Lol, yeah, I'm usually a size... uuuuuhhhh, 36 XD According to Google it's a size 4/3.5 UK and size 6/5.5 US. But in some elegant heels I usually have to size down to a 35 (which is hard to find at all, that's basically the biggest child size, lol). And that's just generalizing, because brands have different sizing, as mentioned before :mcargh:
Now that I think about it, I might not have the thinnest feet, taking my small size into account... hm.

My feet are so small I can wear my sister's shoes and she's 14 ._.
My grandma had small feet, so I must have gotten them from her.
Also, when my sister was a baby in her crib, I could get in the crib with her and there'd be plenty of room for both of us u8

My bestie used to make digital art and her ex made traditional art.
She made some one time and showed it to him and he said he could never respect her art because digital art isn't real art.

I can believe in some conspiracy theories but the microchip thing...makes no sense ._.
And these people are similar to your dad - you can't tell them anything because they'll refuse to listen.
One was my mom's boyfriend and she told him he wasn't allowed over unless he gets his vaccine.
Soooo he's getting his vaccines xD

Well, then I can't respect that guy for being an ignorant with overgrown ego :mcmeh: It reminds me of the time my sister, who basically only drew manga style, was considering applying for the Art School and read the list of required art style samples, they specified in the list that they will not accept any manga style because that's not art. And we were both like "you don't know what art is, you morons, go be stuck up elsewhere" XD Some private art schools did accept such style as I recall, but I'm not 100% sure, I might be making stuff up.

Yeah, I've heard other people say that about art school.
It's ridiculous because drawing manga takes a lot of hard work.
I don't think I could physically or digitally make manga ._.
Digital art takes a lot of hard work too.
I've worked hard to improve as much as I have.

I remember considering joining this community college and I sent an email to the art class, asking if they accepted people who made anime style art.
The lady that responded said "Oh, there's a lot of people that draw like that in class! We hope you'll join us!"
Even in my crappy school, my bestie told me the art teacher had wanted me in her class because she knew I was an artist.

Many things are art.

Dancing is art.
Acting is art.
Music is art.
Drawing/painting is art.
Writing is art.
Photography is art.
Designing something is art.

The artist puts their heart, blood, sweat and tears into what they make.
Telling someone their art sucks or what they worked hard on isn't art is a shitty thing to do.
I think a true artist will accept art in all its forms - from newbies or professionals.

Yeah, he's a really nice guy who cares about us so he decided to get the vaccine.
He actually helped pay to get my tooth pulled and he's working on our house.

Art is so subjective too, it's stupid to try to put limits on it. I've seen plenty of "art" pieces in real galleries and museums that to my tastes look really bad. Which is fine, it's still art. I think if you call what you do "art", then it's art, no questions asked.

I didn't have bad side effects! I was really woozy in the evening after having it and got super tired. But yesterday, the day after, no side effects at all. I went out all day with my assistant to an event and I actually suffered more for being really hot in this current heatwave we're having lol. I think I'm going to stay home for the rest of the pregnancy now, or at least not go out without being in the car. Walking around so much and being on the train really took it out of me. I had to have a nap when I got home and then was still too tired after dinner to do anything.
I feel like I wasted two whole afternoons when I could have been getting stuff done, but I'm trying to go easy on myself as well :< also I have a bit more of a relaxed schedule this week on purpose, so I guess it's okay if I'm not moving at full speed.

for me personally modern art is shitty, but if I had to make an installation or whatever, I'd probably suck at it. Unless I put a rocking chair in a room and say "I've titled this >Loneliness<" or some shit XD

I'm finally beginning to work (by that I mean writing stuff down on post-its so far, lol), I'm trying out the pomodoro method, I'm just now cheating, using some time from the working-25-minutes to finish this post xD

I see people say spending money on art is a waste of money.
I even had someone post a comment on my page, saying they think buying art is a waste of money.
I didn't ask them to buy anything and I wasn't even doing commissions >>
They just randomly told me that xD

You shouldn't be out doing a lot anyways right now. Especially in the heat.

Pomodoro is a method of working in blocks of time. 25 minutes of work, 5 minutes of break, repeat, 25 minutes again then some longer break and then you go again for 25 minutes, short break, and so on. Here's what auntie Wikipedia has to say: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique
Seems to be quite helpful, but I've only done it for like 4 hours or so. I'll try to go longer tomorrow, we'll see how I do. At least I made some rough plan and set deadlines for myself (kind of pulled them out of my ass but at least they're there, lol). I'll be crying from laughter if I miss all of them even though I doubled the estimated time I'd need, because I suck at estimating time :mcargh:

Like I can pinpoint it almost perfectly every time.
